Dr. James Kimbro Maguire, MD

Dr. Maguire found my source of pain after 2 yrs. of being diagnosed by others as arthritis, tendonitis and more. He explained the surgery in detail and I had a gut feeling that this man would solve my pain. I will warn you that if you are a smoker the recovery time can take longer so it's a good time to quit. Recovery is no joyride as it took me 6 months to get back to work being a smoker. Once again, quit. Smoking hinders the bone protein from becoming solid. I know longer limp and have no blackout pain. He's a great surgeon and you can place your trust in him. Thank you Dr. Maguire.

Dr. Maguire instilled in me so much confidence I did not hesitate to schedule the surgery, and am now on the road to a complete and very satisfactory recovery... I have not had this degree of confidence in a surgeon in many years!!! Would not hesitate to recommend highly for anyone needing an excellent orthopedist!!!

I would like to say that with most of my Doctor, Hospital, etc. experiences, this one was one of the best, least stressful ones I could asked for! We were well informed, had answers to all related questions and overall was very rewarding.

Dr Maguire fused 2 discs for my daughter and she can stand up straight for the first time in 4 years. Two weeks later he fused 4 discs for me. I am looking forward to my garden work this spring. I have seeing Dr. Maguire in hopes of resolving some lower back issues. We have tried a number of different options and finally decided that surgery was the only other option. I had a MRI before the appointment. Dr Maguire showed me on the x-ray where my problem was and what needed to be done to correct the problem. All the surgery arrangements were made and explained to me. The surgery went well. There was no more pain. No pain medication was needed during the recovery. The recovery was much better than I had ever expected.

Dr. Maguire is very patient and thorough. He has done two surgeries for me with decompression and fusion to a total of 10 vertebrae. He presents himself with great confidence and knowledge. He listened to my concerns and needs. I would recommend him very highly to anyone! Thank you Dr. Maguire
