Rude, doesn't take time to listen.. He talks an done. No care in his patients

Dr McPeake performed surgery for me twice: once, an ankle tendon replacement in left foot in 2012. When I needed surgery on right foot in 2016, I didn't hesitate to see him again. The tendon surgery had some risk, but has been a big success. He explained the options, pros and cons. I'm reserved myself and stick to business, which he took time to address. When my husband was with me, they really enjoyed talking and had a good chat.

As a surgeon that was undoubtedly the WORST experience I have had as a patient. Never greeted anyone in the room, never listened to symptoms, spent only 10 minutes maybe, talked, never listened and actuallly walked out of the room midsentence

Dr McPeake has repair both of my tendon in my left ankle 8 years apart he did amazing work yesterday he's very professional and not a cut up,l would rather have a quality Dr instead of a friend

First time seeing him. He entered my room, barely looked at me and barely seemed to want to hear how I had hurt my foot. Started writing on the paperwork. Poked my foot where I already knew was broken and said it’s broken right there. Then made a rude presumptious comment of stay off the pain meds and listen to your foot. If it hurts stay off of it. I was so shocked because it caught me off guard. I finally managed to say I’ve not taken any pain meds except some Tylenol. I certainly hadn’t asked for any. Nor did I want any. He just said ok. Not I’m sorry that came out wrong or any type of apology. Made some more rude comments about getting someone big to push me around in a wheelchair etc, told me to come back in 4 weeks and left the room. I refused to schedule that appointment with him at the check out. I won’t see him again. I’ve seen quite a few Dr’s at KOC and never had a bad one until now.

This man treated my wife like she was nothing. She had a procedure done on her foot, constant pain for months, wore a boot for months. Went to see him a couple of months ago was told that she was "non-compliant" and that it was all her fault. He made her feel so bad, that she called me at work crying. We have small kids and for anyone who knows, about impossible to stay on the couch all day. She went to the ER last week and found out that she has a fracture. Made another appointment today and asked me to come because she was so afraid of him, honestly how do you employ a doctor that makes their patients afraid of them? As we sat there, he chastises her about the break, says because she smokes and is non-compliant he will do nothing for her. She asks him several times what "non-compliant" means, his response "I'm not repeating myself to you anymore!" I then ask because I want to know, he finally says, she's on it too much, doesn't wear her splint, misses appointments, smokes. Well, she… did wear her boot, we have three small kids with one requiring a lot of additional attention, missed an appointment because our youngest was rushed to Children's Hospital that day, and yes she should quit, but that didn't break her plate. His response, I don't care about your personal life. So now my wife is walking around with this, he won't do anything about it. What a guy!

I went to KOC due to problems with both feet.. Upon checking in they asked me my problem and I told them.. I waited for one hour and thirty minutes.. The staff that took me back was rude, and when Dr Mcpeake came in, he was the rudest doctor I have ever seen.. Before seeing him they took xrays of both feet. When he came in, he only looked at one. I told him about my other foot and he said it was probably an old fracture.. I've never had a fracture in either foot.. I would not even take my dog to see him.. With all these low ratings and complaints, what is wrong with you people to even keep him on staff..

Extremely rude throughout. I was injured while deployed overseas. After surgery I now have more pain than before. I was first denied physical therapy and was just told it would work itself out. After a month and it didn't I was then granted physical therapy. After only three visits I asked for more and was told "no I'm not military, I don't care, I'm done seeing you, I don't play these games" I would never recommend. So, now he made me worse off than before and I need to go find a new doctor.

I had appointment with Dr McPeake and after waiting for 1.5 hours and to be told there are still patients ahead of you I decided to switch clinics. I understand that schedules can fall behind but if it seems to be the common thing every time you go there maybe the doctors should schedule less patients.

Dr. McPeake is by far the most arrogant, unprofessional, sorriest excuse for a doctor I have ever encountered. I was referred to him, because my ankle was broken in 2 places. He spent about 2 minutes with me & was very rude & dismissive. He didn't listen when I spoke to him, he was condescending & less than helpful. His staff, not much better. He jerked my ankle & foot around causing extreme pain, which persisted for several days after my visit. My ankle hurt worse after seeing him than it did when I broke it. His bedside manner was abysmal at best. I will not be returning to that office, & I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy. I cannot put into words how horrible my experience with this man was.
