Dr. John Leesha Andary, MD

Dr. Andary has done 3 surgeries for me and he has also done surgeries for several other family members and some of our friends. We all have experienced great results from his expert surgical skills and care. Dr. Andary takes great care of his patients and provides excellent care and followup after surgery. His staff is efficient and caring. Scheduling an appointment is quick and easy with little waiting. In office waiting to see Dr. Andary is minimal. We recommend Dr. Andary to others needing orthopedic surgery. Dr. Andary also recommends skilled and attentive physical therapists that work with their patients to promote healing after surgery. Dr. Andary recently did an extensive and complicated surgery on our grandsons knee and leg. Our grandson is healing well and we all expect a good outcome from his surgery. Our family and I highly recommend Dr. Andary and his skilled staff.

Dr. Andary and his team are great! I have been recovering from a capsular shift surgery on my right shoulder and it's healing great! They have been super helpful explaining the whole process and walking me through it all. I feel like my right shoulder is now stronger and feels better than my left which hasn't been injured! I would definitly recommend him and his team to anyone needing a great surgeon!

After enduring 3 years of pain in my right arm , I was told that Dr. John Andary was the best surgeon around to help me fix my right arm. I heard terrible stories of pain after surgery and that you had 6 months of healing and such pain that you couldn’t sleep in your own bed. You would sleep in your recliner and pace the floor with little sleep. You would also baby your arm with a sling for 3months. I already was losing sleep because of pain for 3 years . I decided it was time to fix this arm and I’m so glad I chose Dr. John Andary. I did have pain the first day of surgery, but the second day it was all gone. Literally. I had no pain…absolutely none! I am so grateful to Dr. John Andary. He is the best doctor for anyone needing the same services that I needed. I can’t thank him enough for taking away the pain and giving me better use of my arm.

I was in a motorcycle accident that completely tore my ACL and fractured my tibual plateau. Dr. Andary surgically repaired my knee. After 9 years, 37 mountains, 23 slot canyons and numerous hikes, my knee is doing amazingly well. If it hadn’t been for Dr Andary, I probably would have needed a knee replacement by now.

Several years ago I tore a rotator cuff tendon in my right shoulder. Doctor Andary suggested physical therapy might induce the tear to heal. Miraculously it did. Fast forward to early 2022, stupid me tore a rotator cuff tendon and biceps tendon in my right shoulder. This time surgery was required. While medications were required, the procedure was painless. The degree and rate at which I recovered my range of motion amazed doctors and physical therapists. I broke my arm and Dr. Andary told me it was debatable whether we should do surgery to fix it. He was very honest and realistic about the risks and benefits for me to expect either way. I’m very happy I decided to get surgery because as far as I can tell I think he did a perfect surgery. His staff was very kind and competent in doing their part as well. I was also impressed by the signed decor he has from professional athletes who agreed to give him mementos to display in his office. I figured if he is good enough at surgery to fix Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, then he is definitely good enough for me. Highly recommend!

Dr. Andary is really good and making sure all is well before returning to work from a work related injury. Most important of all is he listens. I would have no issue returning to him for any Orthopedic procedures.
