Dr. John Anthony Artenos, MD

He was always serious, but I liked that. I had three kids delivered by him. Why? because I didn't want a female doctor telling me I was fat and all kinds of things while being pregnant. I'm Latina and I don't think he is racist at all. I love his staff too. I waited no more than an hour for appointments. Now I have Kaiser and if he was at Kaiser I would want him as my obgyn.

This doctor is terrible. Rude, never explained any of the important stuff that goes along with pregnancy, weight gain, symptoms, blood pressure, blood work. So very disappointed that this was my doctor for my first baby. He ruined my experience being pregnant.

WOW. The worst doctors appointment I have EVER had. TERRIBLE bedside manner. My vagina still hurts. Extremely brusk and unfair and inaccurate point of view. If you wan't a doctor from the 1950's that thinks that women don't deserve to be treated like humans, then this is your guy.

dr artenos is my current doctor for my second pregnancy and so far he has done nothing but stress me out. He is very rude and seems to have some kind of racial issue . Hes always in and out never has time for me and seems tO not have interest in CERTAIN patients according to ethnicity. I always hear him laughing and conversaiting with the next door patients and my visit is silent solemn And quick. On my last visit he examined me and it seemed like he was hurting me purposely and then he stated i wasnt letting him do his job and stormed out the room left the door open behind him and i wasnt even dressed. I am so discussed with this man that i have switched my doctor At 37weeks because i honestly don't Trust him to delivery my baby.

My experience for the first time was ok, will he be compassionate with me and understand what I'm going through. Yes to that. My only problem was the front desk girl. Did not acknowledge me for about 1 minute, even as I was standing there. Very cold and didn't feel welcome.

I have no idea why some people have leftSuch negatives comments & feedbacks for dr.Artenos, I almostListened to them and didn't go myself . I went and he is such a nice caring doctor. Always asks me if I have any questions. AndIf I do have questions he thoroughly answers them. I have not had any problems with his fantastic doctor or his staff. His staff is always willing to help me with appointments or even if I am calling just to ask questions. Everyone I have encountered in the office if extremely nice and helpful. The wait is a bit long but i figure it's the same in any other busy office :)

Didnt have a great experience!! The nurse gave me a cup for the urine sample so I assumed she would be there when I got out of bathroom. I didnt know where to take it, so i had to walk around holding the cup and then waiting for a long time to get nurses attention which made me feel kinda stupid. I had many questions for the Dr and i dont think he gave me the time of day. Wasnt able to ask a small percentage of them b/c he seemed in such a hurry to get out. Very short, or talked in circles with no definitive answer. I also wanted to discuss birthcontrol methods and what would be best for me, all he gave me a sheet with barely no info on it. The whole time he was rude, non personal, and not friendly! I had to go back to him but I canceled, left msg several times and never called back to reschedule. Very hard to get a ahold of. Will not be going back to him! Decided to change Dr.'s.

Great dr.!!! And wonderful staff... Had my first child there in 2008 and had a wonderful exoerience....im now pregnant with second and have been going to kaiser and I absolutely despise that hospital!!! I have yet to even meet my doctor!! Im running back to dr. artenos asap!

now im looking foward to him delivering my second child im on line searching for him im about to be five months pregnant and have received very poor prenatal care so far and thats when i decided im going to find him and everything will be as good as it was with my first daughter so far ive gone to two different clinic three different dooctors and and made my mind up dr artenos was the best treatment i received he also delivered my sisters daughter so it makes me feel better and more safe someone u can trust
