Dr. John B Christoforidis

Poor communication skills. Learned little about my condition

Dr. Christoforides is skilled, knowledgeable, capable, AND speaks respectfully to patient, explains in detail, listens patiently to patient questions. He is very kind and always come in the room smiling. He makes eye contact. He is treating my elderly mother for macular degeneration. She has had great improvement. His assistant Lora is also wonderful. The scheduling through UA system is way below average in ease and patient friendliness but this particular office is not as bad as others in the UA medical system. (we almost ended up with another retinal specialist who has a snazzy office and only talked to my mother about the study she would be a part of. He gave her no info on her condition. I suspect the study pays big bucks for each patient. I immediately looked for another specialist and thank goodness found Dr. Christoforides.)
