Dr. John R. Carter, MD

Office staff EXTREMELY rude. I have dealt with them on several occasions...rude to the point of mean. Very demeaning, talks down to people and acts as if you are STUPID. Not once, not twice but many times this has happened. Office staff will NOT let you talk to or leave messages for the doctor or the nurse practitioner! I am in process of changing doctors due to the treatment of the staff.

I've used dr. Carter for 25 years and love him, he is great, he says it like it is, does not sugar coat it and that is what I like in a doctor, I was so sick he even had me come to his office on a Saturday and a Sunday, Can you say that about any other dr.? No didn't think so he is great office staff a little snobby but I know how to remind them I help pay their salaries and attitudes change. He is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been a patient of Dr. Carter since 1999 and he's a wonderful Dr. but the front desk office staff is very rude and maybe a little prejudice....yesterday was the last time...changing Dr.s immediately.

Doctor Carter is the best!

I was a patient for Dr. John Carter when i got pregnant at first i thought he was a good doctor then he referred my unborn child as a Medicaid baby i thought was very rude. I had to go to the ER it was 3 in the morning on the weekend i couldn't see him or make an appointment with him obviously i got a phone call from the receptionist being very rude to me about going to the ER. Also everytime i try to make an appointment they have a horrible attitude and they told me instead of going to another doctor go to them and its hard when they are mean when i try to make appointments with the doctor or nurse they wont let me.

I have used Dr. Carter for about 15 years- he is always very helpful and informative on all issues I have had. I took my daughter to him also as a teenager and he made a point of keeping her as comfortable as possible by letting her know every step of the process. First gyn exams can be very embarassing especially for teenage girls. I have recommended him to serveral of my friend and they have also been pleased with him and his staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Carter's a little over 3 years. He is a well-trained physician that there to help women. His diagnosis and treatments are accurate. He has a good bedside manner and always provides explanation and options. He tells it like it is, whether you want to hear it or not. He wants his patients to be healthy, so talking about weight is part of it. I had two successful deliveries, one being 38 week healthy twins. My deliveries were pleasant ones. He truly cares about your well-being.

Dr. Carter is truly a caring, professional and exceptional physician. He delivered both of my children, cared for me during a life-threatening illness, and has continued to provide excellent medical service through the years. I would not go to anyone else!

His interaction with family members was very poor. I felt he was obnoxious.
