Dr. L. Gregory G. Blanton, MD

We just recently had our first child with Dr. Blanton. I am in the military and we are new to Bossier. We lucked out by selecting Dr. Blanton to deliver our daughter. He and his staff are incredible! 1) He does a ultrasound and every visit. 2) Never felt rushed, always took to the time to address all of our concerns. 3) We saw one of his very excellent PA's the first few weeks, and then every visit after that was with him. He has a very hands on approach to patient care and delivery. 4) Very nice facility. 5) You can tell he genuinely enjoys his work. For someone that probably looks at ultrasounds all day, every time he seemed very excited and engaged to show us our daughter. I thought my wife would never like Northwest LA, but now she says we can't move, because Dr. Blanton has to deliver all of our children.

I have seen Dr. Blanton for over a year now. Before a friend recommended him, I had seen three previous doctors for severe pelvic pain. Each of the previous doctors dismissed my symptoms and said they could find absolutely nothing wrong. Dr. Blanton took time to investigate my symptoms. I see him regularly for bladder instillations. He has never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. He is very compassionate. At first I was a little apprehensive about seeing a male doctor because of prior experiences, but now I would not see anyone else. His office staff is always friendly and courteous, and they return your phone calls in a timely manner. I can not say enough good things about this doctor.

Dr. Blanton is a wonderful OBGYN. I really didn't want a male physician thinking they would rake advantage of you but they are awesome at what they do and they make sure you feel comfortable and explain everything they do. He did an awesome job delivering my daughter a few weeks ago and I can't wait in a few years to have another baby for him to deliver again

Dr. Blanton is a wonderful OBGYN who always is professional yet able to put any patient at ease. He takes the time to explain everything in detail. He spent a considerable amount of time with my husband and I before, during, and after the birth of our first child ensuring that everything went smoothly....I couldn't ask for a better doctor! The ONLY downfall is that is hard to get an appointment to see him specifically...if you are willing to see one of his nurse practioners you can get right in!
