Dr. John Jay Crawford, MD

I saw Dr.crawford for my 6 month old son who has scoliosis and they had me scared to death about his condition but dr.crawford re-done his x-rays and we figured out what was really going on ....he was kind and took him s time and explained his diagnosis to me and we are thankful we went would highly recommend him !!!!!

Worst bedside manner. Please note the only good reviews were those who were operated on. Sucks for you if your child just needs evaluation, you won’t make him money and aren’t worth his time.

The staff are great, check in is great but if you want to be talked down to or made feel that your child is lying about his injury and/or pain then Dr Crawford is who you want to see. He may want to realize that when parents are dealing with their child and seeing them in pain we want a little more respect and consideration that the child may still be hurting even though Dr Crawford may not feel that anything is "wrong". On a side note: I work in Neurology so I get both sides of this situation. "The good physician treats the disease the great physician treats the patient with the disease" William Osler

Dr. Crawford is most definitely a surgeon/Doctor I would highly recommend to any of my family and friends!! My 13 year old had broken off cartlige in her elbow that required surgery!! Which is very scary not only for my child, but her family also!! Within 10 weeks she was able to play volleyball again and resume her life as normal!! Throughout the process of going through this with our daughter, Dr. Crawford was wonderful answering all of our questions and just putting us to ease with everything going on!! We could not thank him enough for everything he has done for our daughter and the care that he gave her throughout the whole process!! Dr. Crawford is an all around great Orthopedic Surgeon, as well as a great person! He is definitely the one to see!! He also has a great staff! They were awesome as well!!!

I cannot praise dr Crawford and his staff enough for the excellent and professional care my family received from them. My son had a pretty major back surgery this year and dr Crawford made this journey so much better and less frightening for Austin and our family. His services as a surgeon are unmatched anywhere and I thank God for directing us to him. God bless him and his staff.

Dr. Crawford was amazing for our fourteen year old son. He was very thorough and answered all of our questions leading up to surgery. He was patient and friendly with us and our son felt very comfortable with him as his physician. We were most honored to have him as our doctor and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I was diagnosed with scoliosis when I was 5 years old. I wore a brace for 8 years my back went from 19° to 46°. If I had not worn the brace it would have been much worse. At that point Dr Crawford thought it was time for surgery. I was very afraid but he was so good. He did a wonderful job. I couldn't have had a better Dr. I am at my 6 month check up everything looks great! I'm am straighter. I gained 2" as well! Thank you so much Dr Crawford for having my back! I would definitely recommend him he has changed my life!

Dr.Crawford saw my 6 year old child for his fractured arm. Dr. Crawford was very kind and patient with my son at all of the appointments. He engaged appropriately with my son and put him at ease. He also is an excellent surgeon. He showed us the x-rays of his arm at his last appt, and his bone looked perfect!
