I’ve had complete knee replacements on both knees. Both surgeries were very successful. The office staff is top notch and Dr Dunleavy is the best orthopedic surgeon in our area.

Dr. John P. Dunleavy is an outstanding surgeon who I highly recommend. He replaced both of my hips relieving me of tremendous pain and he recently replaced both of my husband's knees relieving him of years of excruciating pain. Dr. Dunleavy is extremely knowledgeable, very skilled, conscientious, thorough and a renowned surgeon in his field.

My sister left his office with a severe injury that he would not treat because of her insurance. Ethically-- it is deplorable. Money comes first. I personally could not deal with his arrogance as I accompanied her to the appointment. She could barely ambulate alone.

I highly recommend this extremely skilled surgeon. Dr. Dunleavy replaced both my hips. I am now pain free. He is extraordinarily dedicated with a laser-like focus, highly professional and knowledgeable and soon he will be performing surgery on my husband's knees.

Very dismissive of my needs and my progress was delayed by the lack of communication. Ignored my calls. Just terribly rude and arrogant and I will not be back.

I met Dr. J. Dunleavy about one month ago for my painful left knee. He was kind and informative and straight to the point about my condition. He ordered xrays and MRI to determine that I have osteoarthritis. He has offered options for pain that I am experiencing now. He was truthful in telling me that someday; not in my near future, I would probably need extensive surgery on my knee(s). I recently recommended him to my son who has been experiencing knee pain and he was able to also direct him in the ways that he did for me as well. I liked Dr. Dunleavy's approach and his honesty. He is a good man.

I was very pleased with the care I received from start to finish. Dr. Dunleavy took the time to explain my diagnosis and surgical procedure to me. I was very prepared for my surgery. After my surgery he gave me thorough post operative instructions. He has excellent knowledge for what he does!!! I would definitely recommend him to anyone!!!

After my son had gone to Dr. Dunleavy and received excellent care for his injury, he was the first doctor I went to for my knees. I had suffered many years with pain in both my knees and felt it was time to do something about it. I could barely do daily activities or walk up stairs but after having both knees replaced I am for the first time in many years pain free and able to do my daily activities.
