Dr. John Edward Emmons, DO

I will preface this by saying that these reviews are not credible. I like the fact that he is a DO. They treat the body as a whole. He goes above and beyond, by listening to your questions and concerns. He has made me feel at ease which is not an easy task. If I could give him 10 stars, I would.

He’s a dood Dr and a dood dude!

I appreciate Dr Emmons' personality, as he instantly puts me at ease. He has personally called me to follow up, and no other dr has ever done that before. He doesn't rush the visit, asks alot of pertinent questions and has been very thorough and professional with my care, and listens to me.

When I found Dr. Emmons, I was relieved to be able to understand everything. My previous Dr. was Indian and it was against his religion to touch a female. "I had found a lump in my breast and was frantic as my mother died from breast cancer." Also, I showed this Indian Dr. a spot on my face and he immediately told me it was cancer. I had to break the news to my children when it was not remotely true. Dr. Emmons took over for him. I could not be happier. He is down to earth. He does not see himself as better than you. I was not shamed about my weight and have lost 80 lbs since. No drugs. He listens to your concerns and issues. He even went so far as to personally call Walmart while I sat there to get a better price on a drug for me. If that is not going above and beyond, I don't know what is. I would recommend him to any type of personality as I am more nervous than the average person and am very comfortable with him. I cannot fathom why he would not have 5 stars across the board.
