Dr. John Rune Evaldson, MD

Dr. E was highly recommended to me and I had high hopes. During the first few appointments, he was okay and related really well. He did practically push me out the door when our time was up. As time passed, he became more & more abrupt & frankly, cold. He seemed to have no interest when I called to inform him about a suicide attempt. He was obviously not interested in his patient's well being. He runs his practice all by himself with no support staff and I think that it is just simply too much. I feel that you should have access to talking with your psychiatrist in the case of emergencies but this certainly was not the case with Dr. Evaldson. He abruptly rushed off the phone with me any time I called and literally hung up on me when I was telling him about the suicide attempt. I know he's busy but really!?? The more we saw, the more we felt like an absolute burden. That's the opposite of how I would think one should feel with their psych. He is smart & insightful but that far from… outweighs the other stuff.

Dr. Evaldson is very prompt and professional. He is wonderful with children. He gave an accurate diagnosis as to my son having Asperger's Syndrome.He was easy to work with and had good methodology in working with my son.
