He is most definitely the best heart doctor I know of. He told me I had Tacky Cardia, not a Trifib. I've had no problem with the pacemaker he put in nor the freezing of an extra nerve in my heart at all ~~~ May God bless him & lead him

I had SVT's from the age of 7 until about age 28. I suffered with anxiety not knowing when I would have another attack, The SVT's seem to rule my life in many ways. I went into see Dr.Holshouser as a recommendation from my primary doctor. I was reluctant, having had a bad experience at Sanger before. He was wonderful, just wonderful! He made me feel comfortable, finally a doctor who gave credit to my description of what was going on with me. I had been many times to different doctors. Each of them giving me a list of explanations like I was having panic attacks, I needed to exercise more, I was drinking to much caffeine, etc. However after I had a panic attack for the first time, I knew there was a distinct difference. I worked very hard to describe exactly what I was feeling during my attacks and Dr.Holshouser was tentative. He immediately agreed that what my primary care believed to be the problem was in fact what was going on, SVT's. We scheduled my surgery. His staff… was very comforting and he came in to see how I was several times before we went in for surgery. As he was doing the ablation he continued to talk to me and comfort me, keeping me aware of everything he was doing. I remember feeling like my life had changed and FINALLY I could experience life normally. I was so excited in the recovery room and relieved and when he came to check on me I asked if I could give him a hug, that he was my hero. He said sure and it was just amazing. I feel beyond blessed to have had a doctor who was intelligent enough to recognize my problem and fix it. That was almost 10 years ago, I should not have waited this long to express my gratitude. Since then I have experienced minor arrhythmia or palpitations but never the same SVT attacks again.
