If you want to visit a doctor that takes the time to listen to concerns or answer questions Dr. Hwang is definitely not a doctor you should see. My professional experience was working with thousands of doctors across the United States to help them invest and manage surgery centers. I have many very close friends that are doctors and all of them are very smart and compassionate. Dr. Hwang is a business guy first and a doctor second in my opinion. All he wants to do is move to the next patient expeditiously and tell you what he believes you need to hear. Trying to ask simple questions about your eyes puts him off and he will walk to the door, smile and leave. I have never experienced this type of behavior before by a doctor, but a doctor with an MBA does carry a different mindset and in this case it shows.

Dr Hwang's office got me in quick for an emergency condition. I see great now, and the laser surgery was a success.

dr hwang save my vision in both eyes. in 2014, i was diagnosed with macular traction. he injected my eye with jetrea and it fixed the problem. fast forward a year and the same thing happened in my other eye. he injected again and it worked again. i highly recommend dr hwang.
