My mother's experience with Dr. Kaspar and WakeMed Urology was nothing short of unacceptable. After her initial surgery, she was left dealing with extremely difficult and stressful circumstances that dramatically affected her quality of life. Instead of feeling supported by the physician and healthcare system we trusted, we were left feeling completely on our own during a time when proper medical guidance and follow-up were critical. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of accountability and follow-through. At our last appointment, Dr. Kaspar specifically informed us that his office would be reaching out to schedule the next follow-up appointment. That never happened. No phone call, no appointment, no communication, and no explanation. For a practice responsible for caring for post-surgical patients, this level of neglect and lack of coordination is deeply concerning. My mother was treated more like a chart number than a patient. When a family entrusts a surgeon with the… care of a loved one, they expect not only medical expertise but also professionalism, communication, compassion, and a commitment to ensuring proper recovery. Unfortunately, our experience with Dr. Kaspar and WakeMed fell far short of those expectations. The combination of the difficult outcome following surgery and the complete failure to follow through on promised post-operative care destroyed our confidence in this provider and the practice. We would never return and cannot recommend Dr. Kaspar or WakeMed Urology based on our experience. Patients deserve far better communication and continuity of care than what we received.

I would not go to any other urologist. I would follow him where ever he goes. He is the most kindest, understanding Dr. ever. I have been to him several times and he has done surgery on me several times. He has the sweetest smile and the sweetest spirit.

Horrible experience. He does not really care about you he just wants to win the award for the most procedures. Told not to even bother leaving a message on mychart bc they do not even look at it which is true. Told they only allow ten min per visit even for a complicated serious case. Surgery failed. Assistant seems pretty ignorant to me and the surgery coordinator was dismally rude and never returns phone calls much less answers her phone. All around cold corporate factory health care.

He came in and rattled off this and that and refused to listen to what I had to say.

Had a very large stone. Did a CT scan and x-rays. Was scheduled for surgery and snow storm rescheduled it. Stone flared up before surgery could be done. He reworked his schedule to get me in. Excellent care. I would highly recommend this doctor.

Met in the emergency room. Very quick to try to push things on you without merit. Provided emergency surgery but during the follow-up never went over the results. Started talking about my PSA and how I might need a prostate biopsy. Overheard him talking to another patient in a different rooms with the same kind of discussion. Just had a CT scan and I still have the same stones that I had when he performed my surgery 8 months ago. : ( A shyster, I would not recommend him to see my animals.
