Dr. John Christopher Roe

Dr. Roe and his staff are very rude. Dr Roe actually hurt me while he was checking my strengths. He pushed back way too far. Just to be told he couldn’t do anything for me. Told me that injectable’s would only make my rotator cuff worse. I was in terrible pain when I got home from visit with him that I was crying. He’s awful.

The most traumatic experience in my life. I saw Dr. Roe after breaking my shoulder. He said I needed surgery, it would never heal properly on its own. He never showed me the x-rays and put me in a bulky, uncomfortable sling. He showed no compassion and reprimanded me for asking the same question twice. The day of surgery we asked him some questions about post operative care. His answers were rude and condescending. The nurses were shocked. He abruptly proceeded to tell us that he will not perform the surgery, storming away without explanation. After two hours of begging him to do the surgery with the chief medical officer and head of nursing present, I was discharged. No surgery was performed. Four days later I saw a very experienced surgeon who explained everything clearly, sharing xrays and informed us no surgery was needed, it would heal on its own. Four months later I am 90% healed. Living my life pain-free and doing PT. Lesson learned always get a second or third opinion.
