Dr. John Thomas Shaw, MD

I've been with Dr. Shaw for 25 plus years now and he's the best. Takes his time with you, thoughtful, and super personable. Hope I'm with him another 25 years. Wouldn't want anyone else!

I have been seeing Dr Shaw for over 22 years. He is the best Dr of all time. He is patient, kind, takes time with all his patients and is completely respectful at all times. When you have seen him as long as I have he has become like family. He has been there for me through many ups and downs through many years of many medical issues and personal family issues. He always cares deeply for all his patients. He is now my daughters dr also and she loves him as much as i do. I moved from Nashville 10 years ago to GA 6 hours away and still see Dr Shaw. Would never change Drs as long as he is practicing. Keeping you always in my prayers. He is simply the best.

Been seeing him since 2001. Wait times are long, but if I didn't love him so much, I'd find someone else. He is very attentive, courteous and very good. Definitely would refer him as I have on many occasions. See you soon doc.

My wife and I have been patients of his for years. He's the best doctor we've ever had (we're in our 60's). There's a reason he's gotten so many awards from patient surveys. He's a doctor who'll spend an hour or more with you if that's what it takes to get to the bottom of an issue. Sometimes that means you may have to wait in the waiting room for a bit, but who doesn't want a doctor who spends time actually diagnosing and treating what ails us? Dr. Shaw is an EXCELLENT diagnostician. Two friends had been to numerous doctors previously without getting a diagnosis. Dr. Shaw as able to diagnosis and treat their actual conditions. We couldn't recommend him more highly!

I have been his patient for 16 years. He is an excellent doctor, who gives you plenty of time to consult.

I've been a patient of his for years now. Yes, wait times have been bad at times, but since he left Sterling Primary, that has improved immensely. Doctors are allotted 15 minutes per patient by insurance companies. He will spend hours with you if he needs to. I've referred a lot of people to him and will continue to do so. Best. Doctor. Ever.

I WAS a patient I was told I would be referred to a rheumatoid arthritis Doctor so after a couple of months I called to see what the status was I’m told they have no idea so I ask for dr Shaw to call me to find out was was the issue he calls back not a very nice person I ask him what was I crazy or did he not refer me to another specialist he ask well do you want to b referred or not I politely say no because of the way your handling the situation mind u the staff is new not me so to dismiss me was wrong so he says well I think you should find another doctor we can’t help you and hung up left me in tears all because his staff is new and drop the ball so I’m not saying don’t choose him but beware of the office staff and what they may relay to the doctor...doctors just don’t care anymore I worked in health care for many years and I always felt the patient was always right when they are being respectful now if the patient is cussing and being disrespectful I get that but just tryna get… the help you need so the pain you deal with can be eased that’s all I wanted.. and I will say before this I absolutely loved dr Shaw never wld think he would be so rude and in caring never.
