Dr. John James Verre, DO

Dr. Verre is very nice & is wonderful at explaining the procedure. He will also tell you if surgery is not the best option. He replaced my knees when I couldn't find any other doctor that would because my knees would not come out 100% back to normal. Having 90% movability is so much better than 30% I started with! I would refer anyone to Dr. Verre & the rest of the OAW team!

Dr Veree is a great Surgeon,, I was referred to him after breaking my leg and had a surgery in Aspirus, Dr Veree had to remove the hardware related to infection then 2 months later did a surgery with new hardware, he is a very caring doctor and was very up front with my situation, he was very impressed today at my appointment and how well I was doing, he answers all of my questions, we never have had to wait for an appointment

Dr Verre is a patient and thoughtful surgeon. He takes his time explaining things and I never felt rushed. Would definitely recommend to anyone!!

I first encountered OAW after a UTV accident and a traumatic injury to my foot and ankle. I had never been through anything like this and didn’t know what to expect. Dr Verre was the most kind and thoughtful doctor I encountered through my entire experience and did an amazing job on my ankle surgery at the time. I am returning for hardware removal of the same ankle and he was just as thorough as he was the first time I went to him. The whole clinic is kind and caring. I would recommend him to anybody needing orthopedic work. He has great bedside manner and I never once felt rushed in the clinic like you can sometimes feel when doctors are busy. He is hard to get into BUT I somehow got lucky enough to get scheduled with him after my accident!

I was so pleased with my visit with Dr. John Verre. I felt so comfortable with him and felt immediate trust. Dr. Verre gave me the amazing news that I would be able to finally have surgery for both knees. He explained every detail about the surgery and stopped to answer questions. He went over what recovery looks like , PT and also the risks. His staff is also professional and caring at a personal level. I look forward to going on this surgical journey with Dr. Verre and staff and maybe I’ll be checking off some items on my bucket list in the next 6 months. I want to also thank Jeff Ambord PA, and Dr. Leila Borders for getting me to this point with their care.

Dr Verre was very professional and truly cared about my care. Dr Verre took the time to go over treatment options with me and listened to my history and concerns. Dr Verre explained what he found during my exam and went over best treatment plans so I could make an informed decision on a course of action for now and future care. Dr Verre and his whole staff were very professional and truly cared about my treatment. I will highly remcomend him to others.
