I would wish that you find yourself another dr. this one could care less if you die.

I have seen Dr. Williams for several years now. While he can seem a bit gruff at times, he is really a very compassionate, caring doctor. In these days of PPO's and MCO's, he is able to spend as much time as is feasibly possible with his patients. The office staff is courteous and his nurse, Joyce, is awesome. He is to the point and honest.

My father had Undiagnosed Alzheimer's dementia while going to this doctor on a regular basis. When my brother and I realized that something was wrong I called his office and left a message for the nurse so I could discuss our issues at his next appointment without doing in it in front of my father. She never returned my call. At the time of the appointment, Dr. williams came into the room and very rudely asked "who are you all and why are you here". He did not shake our hands as I introduced myself and my brother. I stated I had concerns and he stated "I can't get your father to take his medication correctly". He said this knowing full well that my Dad was suffering memory lost. My father thyroid was out of control because he couldn't remember to take his medication. His nurse told us that she strongly suspected dementia. My question is WHY did they not reach out to Dads family? He was rude, abrupt and asinine the whole time. I immediately changed doctors. My father had been his… patient for years and he simply doesn't care about his patients. I wouldn't take my dead dog to see him!!!

This Dr is knowledgeable, efficient & on time. He knows my history prior to entering the room and handles my case & questions quickly and precisely & does not waste my time. And I never have to wait longer than a few minutes at my appointment because he believes in being on time. He literally was life saver during my bout with colon cancer.

I just moved to the area & was looking for a PCP. After hours of research Dr Williams seemed to be the lesser of the evils (the Drs in Bristol aren't exactly top notch & that worries me!). The front desk woman was ok, the young girl who checked me out was picking her nose as I opened the door to her office area. As far as Dr William's nurse...she was AMAZING!! She was the ONLY good part to my visit. The 1st thing I'd like to say about the Dr is that he needs lessons in smiling & bed side manner - he had the personality of a door knob. 2nd, I was a 1st time patient with extensive cardiac & neurological issues & he spent less than 10 minutes with me - HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?!?!? 3rd, I told him how I had a cat scan prior to moving to Bristol & was concerned about what it said: possible enlarged heart & a 4 mm nodule in my right lung. I told him I had an appointment with a cardiologist in 2 weeks but didn't want to wait that long incase something was seriously wrong. His response… "let the cardiologist take care of it". His response to the 4mm nodule, "we don't do anything for less than 5mm, we'll keep an eye on it". Not sure what he meant by that nor did I question him because I knew at that point I had had enough & wasn't going back. I know I now live in the middle of BFE but I expect nothing less than TOP NOTCH service from Drs especially when I have the medical issues I have! I wouldn't take my dog to see Dr Williams! If he wants to remain a dr I suggest he change his attitude & take the concern of his patients seriously. He is a poor excuse for a dr & if this is what Bristol has to offer, I'm in trouble!

Dr Williams is a no nonsense Dr who is efficient, focused & cares deeply about patients. He tells it like it is, which is what I prefer. He answers my questions whenever I have concerns and I like that he believes in prevention.

His personal (nursing) staff is great, the business office staff (not all) needs a little improvement. Dr. Williams needs to learn how to listen to his patients and watch his language. He makes you feel like you are imposing on his day.
