An outstanding doctor; highly compassionate and understanding of your concerns.

My mother went to see him for a second opinion on her glaucoma, cataract and other issues. She could not stop talking about how wonderful Dr. Yang was. He spent lots of time with her, explaining many details about her conditions that other doctors did not bother to do and even shared with her other information on her eyes that she did not know about and that no other doctor had ever mentioned to her before. He was gentle, calm and caring. He might be the nicest doctor she has ever seen. Highly recommended. If more doctors were like him, the world of medicine would be a truly different place (my late father's oncologists and others involved in his treatment could seriously learn a thing or two).

I experienced problems with vision and excess eye mucus for 3 years. I saw 6 other opthalmaologists before finding Dr. Yang. He was the only one to properly diagnose and correct my problem. He and his staff were professional and friendly. I had several eye surgeries with Dr. Yang and completely trusted his surgical skills. Even though the trip downtown is a bit out of my way, it's well worth going the extra miles.

When you doctor is Dr. John Yang you do not mind waiting. I absolutely love Dr. Yang. He is a tremendous person and expert in his field. He is kind, gentle, and has the most awesome bedside manner. Now they ask about waiting, but Dr. Yang has great movies on a large screen in his waiting room so that makes it fine. Also, I would wait for hours to see him. I can see why these appointments take so long as he spends so much time with you so it makes sense and I benefit so I do not mind. If you have eye problems, Dr. Yang is the best doctor and I highly recommend him.
