Dr. Johnathan Marshall Winstead, MD

Dr. Winstead did an absolutely fantastic job stitching up a large cut above my right eye. It took 10 stitches and now it is just about impossible to see where he stitched it up. He sewed it up in the wrinkle above the eye and it matches perfectly the line above left eye. He was kind, and thorough and I did not have to spend hours and hours in the ER as I have previously at other hospitals. I would absolutely go back to Memorial to see Dr. Winstead if it was necessary. I would highly recommend him anytime. I am grateful for his treatment. July 2023

Terrible experience, Didn't even check anything vitals or nothing. Asked no questions... He was just worried about making his rounds. I left with major abdominal pain with no answers, nothing. I just paid hundreds of dollars to just have to end up going to another doctor to spend more money.

Seemed to be mostly concerned with speedily moving patients out, not with care.

Really took the time to listen to me.

Unfortunately, you don't get to choose an ER doctor, but if you ever run into this one - try to get a replacement. Absolutely the worst MD I have ever encountered. When he took offense at a patient's comment, he had what can only be described as a temper tantrum - and threatened to withhold treatment - for an EMERGENCY. His lack of respect borders on "doing harm." In response to this man's behavior I choose to boycott the hospital (Memorial Health) he works at, for any and all medical services.
