Hugely successful tumor removal surgery. Experienced no pain, no infection and a great recovery. Very caring and would highly recommend him.

I went to Dr. Weingart after having 2 decompression surgeries within a year. Dr. Weingart recommended spinal fusion. It was the best advice. I'm back to normal, no pain meds, no physical restrictions.

Dr. Weingart is exceptional. I owe my life to him.

Having read multiple reviews from patients who were treated by Dr.Weingart, let me say you are off the mark. He is not there to hold hands with you. As a patient you chose one of the best in his field. Do you want someone with skill or some one to hold your hand. Having had 2 surgeries by Dr Weingart he is very skilled. When other physicians send their family members to him you know you got the best

He was accurate,Informative,patient and sincerely caring.

He did not explain all the risks to surgery but stated that he did on paper. I got most of my information online. After surgery, he did not respond to e-mails and messages left at office in a timely manner. If I could turn the hands of clock, I would not have done the surgery or look for another chiari specialist. I felt like it was John Hopkins and the best hospital so I trusted everything I was told.

Overall, I can't say much bad about the doctor himself other than telling a patient that theyll just have to learn to live in pain, act reluctant to do anymore testing to find the source of the problem, then forget to give your staff the notes on what test to order is not the best way to leave a first visit. He mainly gets a bad review for choosing a crappy office staff though. Who, even though it took the doctor a week to get the staff his notes and the list of test I am to have done, it took them a few more days to start working on getting those test ordered. Then when I called to try to find what the holdup was and to offer any help I could as getting authorizations for patients in a specialist setting was my job before I took sick, that was met with anger and rude attitude and was told that I would not be called again; that theyll just move on to their other deserving patients. After working for a doctor who in all his well-meaning could leave patients a little bemused, and who had… a tendency to get behind on getting his staff his notes; he was able to make up for this by hiring an efficient and caring office staff that was able to calm the patient when some times our doc left them a little flustered (as doctors can have a tendency to do to us patients sometimes) by ensuring that no matter how long he took to get us what we needed, the patient never left the office without what they needed, and before the day was done, I had started the process of authorization for every patient that may have needed it. I understand that being a single doctor in a private practice, it may be easier to accomplish then being a doctor in the world renowned organization that is JHU but still. Moral of this story: a great office staff can add or detract greatly from a doctor's relationship and experience with his or her patient.

Even thou I am now living with severe problems. Dr. Weingart was great. My first doctor who did my surgery was horrible. Dr. Weingart not only did what he needed to do, but cleaned up the mess from the first surgery. The only problem I had was his bedside mannor.
