I will NEVER Go BACK

I have been suffering with lower back issues and stiffness in my neck for and years. Within a few sessions he has relieved me from by back issues and increased my mobility in my neck dramatically . I feel like a new person . He is a true healer, addresses the root of the problem instead of medicating the symptoms and cares about his patients.

I found Dr. Sokoloff when he worked at MSKCC. He has since moved to NYU. Dr. Sokoloff prescribed a specific kind of myo-fascia PT that brought my pain levels down by 80%. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

When I went to Dr. Sokolof I had already been to a physiatrist to find out about the pain I had on the left side of my lower back and the pain I also had in my leg on the same side. I was given an epidural injection in my back. I also took lidocaine. The pain in my legs subsided, however, the pain in my back didn't. It was suggested I have Physical Therapy and/or Acupuncture. First I did PT and when that didn't work I went for acupuncture. It also didn't work and the pain in my back, though lessened, was still there. My first physiatrist then told me about Dr. Sokolof after I said I didn't want another epidural. After one visit with Dr. Sokolof the pain in my back was so lessened that I was able to sleep at night. I could turn over and not wake myself up because of the pain. In the meantime, my neck started to pain me. The next visit Dr. Sokolof worked on my neck. I don't know how he does it but by touching my back in a certain way and then moving my neck and then holding… it also in a certain way both the pain in my back and neck are gone.

I am being going to Dr. Sokolof for years, and I have found him to be one of the best Doctors I have ever been to. He is extremely knowledgeable, thoughtful, and most importantly, he really, really cares about his patients! In these days of "cookie-cutter" Doctors, Dr. Sokolof is a rare exception, a real treasure!
