Dr. Jonathan D. Bui, MD, PhD

We just had a great visit with Dr. Bui. He's so caring and takes so much time to explain things. I am really surprised by the negative reviews but some of them are on the same day.

My child was a patient at Radys a former polio hospital and contracted MRSA there! this young Nuerologist walking around w/ a bowtie that was prob getting his degree from UCSD medical school like most interns there would just stand at patient bedside not assking parent of child/patient living 24 hrs with child of any symptoms but give negative comments This Dr should stay reading books instead of seeing patiients once a month at ths mcdonalds food cafeteria

Worst neurologist

He is horrible. We left his office crying. Terrible experience

Worst doctor ever!! He doesn’t care at all about the desesperate parents of a child who needs help. Only he can do is prescribe respiridone to numb your child. He doesnt even ask for an exam, like a 12 hours VeEg which is very irresponsible for a neurologist. This neurologist is very insensitive, arrogant and he was extremely rude to me and my family during the roughest time of our lifes. We left his office crying and even a practioner who was with him was chocked the way he was treating us during the appointment. He has no clue what he is doing, very behind to investigate a problem in the child. I only went to this doctor because that was whom the insurance provided, but after seeing him we ended up paying out of pocket for second opinion to find out my kid was having seizures and Dr Bui even mentioned that with us, he only wanted to push his favorite drug to cause even more harm: respiridone. Now my child is doing great, thank God I didnt believe in Dr Bui. Don’t waste your time with… someone who cant help your child. Unless you want to dope your kid and be bad treated by someone who doesn’t do anything. That was the worst experience in my whole life time. I do NOT want other parents to go through what I went through with this “doctor” so thats why I am writing this review. We don’t deserve more burdens that we already have.

Dr. Bui and his straw-man hypothetical doctoring & struggles with communication poorly represent UCSD and this facility.

Doctor Jonathan Bui is the best Neurologist my son has seen. He has Autism, ADHD, and Migraines. Doctor Jonathan Bui is very knowledgeable and diagnosed my son in a short amount of time. He is friendly and professional. I am very happy he is my son's neurologist. I would highly recommend him to parents that have a child diagnosed with Autism, and Migraines.

He is such wonderful doctor, he spends too much time with my son. He helped us to improve our son ability very nice and helpful.
