I honestly can't say enough how amazing Dr. Camp is. He is honest, he takes time to explain, and he is very understanding, and helpful!! I have worked with orthopedic surgeons for over 7 years now, also I have seen multiple for my daughters medical issues, and I can honestly say that he is at the top of my list of great orthopedic surgeons!! Thank you Dr. Camp for your guidance!

EXCRUCIATINGLY PAINFUL! My 8 year old son, was screaming in pain as he was being wheeled to the hospital's door after a broken arm surgery. Tears gushed from his eyes, as he extended his uninjured hand out to anyone walking by: "PLEASE HELP ME, OMG PLEASE GOD HELP ME!....." I'm nearly having a heart attack myself as I re-visit this terribly painful memory. By the time we got to the exit door of the hospital, others were suggesting we turn around and go back to the ICU, where we had just left. The front desk called the ICU unit, and they turned us down, advising that if my son was in pain, to go to Urgent Care, his pediatrician, or the ER. With my son clearly in extreme pain, awaiting patients in the emergency room volunteered to let him go ahead of them. Dr. Camp took hours to return the ER physician's call and he was not able to administer any pain medication until he received a call back. My 8 year sol son's blood pressure was sky high from pain, and the ER physician "admitted him… for pain control". Dr. Camp never stopped by the ER to see my son, or to offer any help, and I never heard from him. I did, however, hear from the hospital's staff who heard of the event and wanted my side of the story. Several weeks later, when the date arrived for the rod to be removed from my son's arm, I called ahead asking if there would be any anesthesia prior to the procedure, or should I give him something for pain before arriving. They said not to give him anything and that they would take care of it. It took 3 attempts from the "assistant", not Dr. Camp, at pulling at the approx 8" long metal rod out of my son's arm, cold turkey. When the cast was off, I noticed the long THICK OPENED SCAR down my son's arm. I asked the assistant where the sutures were, as there was none seen. This explains the uncontrollable pain my son was feeling as he was coming out of anesthesia and immediately being wheeled out of the hospital within minutes after awaking from surgery. My son is very self conscious about his scar and often asks if he can have it removed somehow. I find Dr. Camp a BARBARIC doctor and hope no other child ever goes through what my son had to endure.

Dr. Camp saved my life! I don't think I'd be alive were it not for him and his team. I've heard of other people having to get Scoliosis surgery done and not even able to walk again or even worse. My scar is almost not even noticeable! He's the best!

I arrived 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and waited only 15 min till my appointment. I read all the reviews of this doctor before I went for my son's appointment and had some apprehension. My son just needed his arm placed in a cast. I intoduced myself and my husband. Dr Camp's bedside manner was genuine. I felt all my questions were answered. My anxiety subsided. I appreciated his time time to look at the x-rays. Although, he didn't touch my child's arm to look at swelling. However, the physician's assistant was nice and checked my sons arm and did the casting. He said we could call Bert anytime for follow-up questions. We got a handout for cast care on the way out.

Do not go to this office. They care more about money then the care of the patient. Two botched surgeries and Dr. Camp cared cared more about getting the last of his money and meanwhile I have a son that will not ever lead a normal life because of him. THe office staff is horrific especially the scheduling and payment gal. I should have known when we had to wait for so long and his xray machine is outdated and spent many time getting double x-rays because his machine is outdated one time the wrong x-ray was in my sons folder. I regret the day I ever stepped foot into his office and world. Should have known by the horrible staff and wait time. He might be good for broken arms but I would not trust him with a major surgery.

We saw Dr. Camp a year ago and he was adamant that our child needed surgery. After pondering and weighing pros and cons we thought it was something we could explore. To our surprise at the follow up visit he was very rude and dismissive and stated that even though our child still has the condition and it has not gotten better she now does not require surgery. After asking why he was reluctant now and so adamant before he said that I was being confrontational and to just seek a second opinion. He is awful.

Dr. Camp is simply the best in town at what he does. Definitely worth a whopping 30 minute wait to take care of my son.
