Dr. Ronald Curtis Koe, MD

I sought care with this surgeon for a knee injury and found the physician to be knowledgeable and technically skilled. However, for me, the overall experience did not feel like the best fit. While the surgeon is well-regarded, my experience with communication and follow-up through the office did not meet the level of support I needed while dealing with increasing pain and functional decline. I ultimately chose to transfer care to a different provider whose office communication better aligned with what I was looking for in a surgical process. I also noted an inaccuracy in my medication list. I requested that this be corrected, but it remained inaccurate, which reinforced my decision to seek care in a setting where documentation review and communication felt more aligned with my expectations. It was the lack of availability to speak directly with Dr. Koe or another healthcare professional to communicate the change in my condition. After seeing another provider, it was confirmed that… I indeed had a change in functionality that needed to be addressed.

My shoulder surgery couldn't have been better, Dr. Koe is a genius! Also, this was my first surgery and he made me feel very comfortable. I admit, I wasn't the easiest patient but he hung in there with me and both patient and Doctor survived! He does good work and I would trust him if ever I needed surgery again.

All he kept talking about was surgery and that was the last thing I wanted

The front lady was extremely rude and didn't seem to care that i needed to book my next appointment. I saw Dr Koe for Shoulder pain and he recommended shoulder surgery right away as soon as i told him that i had dislocated my shoulder. I decided not to move forward with the surgery especially after doing some research and seeing how many complains this Dr has against him.

I had a shoulder surgery with him and it went quite well. Had a knee replacement and am disabled for life. He would not even try to fix it. When trying to reach him to try to help or get assistance, his office staff, primarely his daughter threw me out of his office. I had been seeing him for 2 years. I called, they made an appt. for me and then said they didnt have one for me when I arrived. This was 100% their mistake from a new and rude receptionist. I will never be able to work again and truly believe they should have made an effort to accommodate me for this very serious matter. Go to Cravetti or Steven Thomas for a real professional office and much better outcome.

This surgeon is a piece of crap,and an idiot. He is known for recommending surgery when it's not needed,and also his surgical skills are poor and he will butcher every bone inside your affected area. he butchered my left knee, now i cant even walk from the irreversable he did to me.

all the positive reviews for this doctor have to be fake. I committed the mistake of having shoulder surgery and I ended up with more pain than ever. what was supposed to be a simple rotator cuff repair ended up becoming a horrible nightmare. I'm in so much pain, and now I'm being told by other surgeons that the only way to fix Dr koe's mistake is to get a shoulder replacement.

Good Orthopedic. They over charge on Copay every time. I challegened them and they told me to find a new Doctor. Dr Koe condolences this and didn’t respond to my appeal as I like him as an Ortho.

Not sure where to start. I really liked the Dr. And staff when I first went there several years ago. But something has happened. Several employees left, Office Manager left, and it's absolutely the worst office in town. Rude, incompetent and what makes matters worse is it's a reflection on him. I dont believe he is a horrible Dr. or person but for him to allow his staff to treat people the way they do, well you know what they say....the sh#@ starts at the top and rolls down hill. He is aware of what they do and allows it to happen. He is the leader and it's his name on the door. Absolutely go to another Dr. One of my bigger mistakes was to have surgery with him. I have another surgeon now who is cleaning up his mess..
