Dr. Parminder Singh Kang

Staff is extremely polite, friendly and efficient. Everything was explained to me and all my questions answered. I was nervous going in but the whole experience was extremely easy and painless. Great Doctor and great staff.

Parminder Kang replaced my right hip. During the procedure the top of my femur (lesser trochanter) was fractured. The fracture was "hairline" and I recovered from the actual replacement procedure very quickly and the actual prosthetic functions well. I was released for full activity 2 months after the replacement. I began walking approximately 2 miles a day and resumed upper body training, always being very cautious in resuming my normal physical activities. Three weeks after the surgery I began experiencing sever pain in the region of my surgery and was unable to put any weight on my right leg without experiencing severe pain. I was out of the U. S. at the time and was planning my return within the week. I contacted Dr. Kang's office and was told that they could not schedule an appointment for 3 more weeks. I called my primary care physician in Las Vegas and he was able to see me as soon as I returned. When I arrived he x-rayed my right hip area and the fracture was… apparent, approximately 1.5 - 2 cm. in width. I was shocked as I had not suffered any falls or injuries after my surgery that my have caused the fracture. I returned to Dr. Kang 3 weeks later and he gave no explanation but offered a leg brace and told me to lessen my activities and told me that it would heal on its own in 3 to 6 months. Upon further investigation I was able to discover that the fracture was evident on the first x ray that was taken at 1 week post surgery. I did not see that x ray until 5 months later when it was evident that the fracture was widening. I questioned Dr. Kang as to why he released me for full activity when he was aware that there was a fracture in the trochanter region. His response "You were in such excellent physical condition and appeared to be doing so well, I didn't think there would be a problem". There were no options given for repair or other approaches to correct the situation or any acceptance for causing the fracture. By the time this all came to light, it was too late to correct the situation medically or legally. There are many further details that I will not go into at this time, suffice it to say, this has dramatically affected my health and my life in so many negative ways. In the state of Nevada, if you do not pursue legal assistance within a year from the date of discovery for a suspected medical malpractice situation, there is no attorney who will accept your case. I did not pursue legal assistance until it was too late, believing Dr. Kang's diversionary advice that it would heal fully given time.

I called his office for one question & did not get a call back for over a week, after calling each day to see if he reviewed my chart, his staff was hard to connect to, & the Dr unresponsive to my question.

Dr. Kang did a total knee replacement for me. He and his staff were outstanding. I recommend him unequivocally.

I had a total hip replacement performed by Dr. Kang in January. Before surgery I was in pain all the time. Even sitting on the couch was painful. After surgery the pain was gone. I was back to work in 8 weeks. If you need this surgery don't wait just do it! He gave me my lifestyle back!

Dr. Parminder Kang is the top in his field and I highly recommend him to anyone who has need of his surgical skills. After just weeks following total knee surgery I'm relatively pain-free and I can walk with ease. He and his staff have treated me with the utmost respect and kindness from start to finish.
