The worst surgeon in medical history, hungry for money, he and his team are not professional at all, they hurt people.

I went to see the doctor for a torn meniscus he fixed it with leftoscopic I had steroid shot three gel injections I'm worse now and I was before they went in and found arthritis did nothing about it my knee swells every day and when I called him to see what they could do she told me to take anti-inflammatories right so I can kill my kidneys and liver no thank you and I went in for a knee problem and was on short-term disability every time they would send paperwork off punch in 10 words and punch a button I had to pay them $20 for the same case they would send the girl in that takes my information to ask me do you have the $20 no more I hate I have to go look for a whole new doctor and start all over again

can't speak of his surgical skills, as he blatantly canceled my surgery. His Assistant, Bryn called and said my score was too low and I needed to bring it up, but as of now, I am canceled. I had no idea what she was talking about and finally, she explained that a nurse called me and asked questions and my points were too low. The call was five weeks before I was canceled and I had forgotten all about it. She stated she didn't know what brought my score down, so I asked her to please call and find out (She should have had this info in front of her before calling me). She called back and told me about 7 items, which were laughable, as they had already been solved, thus bringing my score way up. However, I was not allowed to address them. It is his option to cancel a patient (I'm thinking he doesn't want to operate on Medicare patients). However, He totally destroyed me. He could have suggested that I come in and let him talk to me, or he could have recommended another Doctor, etc. … He never spoke to me at all! He sleeps well at night but left me in tears with his uncaring attitude. I called the Director of Operations, Amanda several times, who was very kind in the past. No call was ever returned. My advice is to stay far away from this Doctor because he cares nothing about his patients!

r. Fontes performed a total knee replacement for me and after 5 months, it's fantastic. Dr. Fontes obviously cares a great deal for patients' well-being and is terrifically professional. A physical therapist told me that Dr. Fontes is the only doctor that he trusts to treat him when there is a need. Now I am sure that is true for me too.

This guy keeps you waiting two hours every visit .My last appointment was the usual two hour wait ,and I could hear fontes shouting at his staff, "Why do I still have two patients at 5:30pm when my son has a soccer game and I am late" He then entered the room ,and spent a minute with me before leaving ,telling me nothing. The soccer game was much more important to him .

Be prepared to wait two hours or more when you visit Dr Fontes. My last visit after waiting over two hours I heard him shouting at his staff ,wanting to know why he still had two patients waiting at 5:30 pm,because his son had a soccer game . He then entered the room and spent less than a minute with me , and walked out.The soccer game was his priority. This guy really does think that he is god ,and has the bedside manner of a pet rock.

Dr. Fontes and his team were wonderful. My right total hip replacement went so well that I was walking and had little pain almost right away. I did not even take pain meds. after day 4. Dr. Fontes listened and was knowledgeable and caring as was Laura. his PA. I would recommend Dr. Fontes to anyone needing hip surgery. He is great!

He is absolutely the best in his field in every way including his staff. He replaced my left hip and I was out of the hospital the next day. I was virtually pain free within 2 or 3 short weeks and the scar is so small you can hardly see it (not even 2 inches on bikini line). Wonderful, caring, doesnt make you wait. Answers all questions. I just love him. Highly recommended!!

I am a medical procedure newcomer, and am overly impressed with the kind of quality care I have received from Dr. Fontes and his entire team. Very professional, caring, and thorough! Had a question after surgery and already home, called his cell, and he immediately answered! I’m sure that doesn’t happen every day! I extend my highest recommendation!

You're the best, Dr. Fontes...my left anterior hip replacement surgery went exceptionally well, no more arthritic pain, quick recovery, back bowling in 6 weeks. Your support team are all amazing ladies that have done a great job and kept in touch with me to make sure I was recovering on task. At my senior age of 82, I am forever grateful!!! Noriko Sugita
