Dr. Jonathan Isaac Macy, MD

I have been having my eyes examined and refracted by Dr. Macy for more years than I can remember! Dr. Macy and his team are kind, thorough, and honest.

i was kept waiting for 40 minutes. when the appointment was over the doctor walked me to where he sells glasses - i told him that i wasn't ready to buy them yet! then one of the optometrists came over and asked me again if i wanted glasses as i was paying. this guy only cares about his margins. do not trust!

The office tries to be a big shot operation but its one doctor. They also ask for money up front before you see the doctor, even if you have insurance which is tacky and unprofessional and kinda crass.

Dr. Macy spent less than 1/2 of the time any other eye doctor I have ever seen in 20 years of wearing glasses. My prescription was determined by an assistant and I am not entirely sure how my prescription will turn out. They are very insistent on eye dilation - and attempt to guilt you into doing it.

The office was like a factory. There were many people waiting. When I saw the doctor, he did not seem to care at all about me. He even made a rude remark to me about my eyelids sagging from age. This sagging had absolutely nothing to do with what I was there for.
