Dr. Jonathan Silver Rutchik, MD

I can only echo what I have seen in most reviews on multiple websites. He is the WORST! For all the reasons stated in other reviews.

Get another doctor

Dr. Rutchick spent more time sharing his unprompted opinions about COVID (and how he thinks his son's school should open up) than interacting with the patient. He seemed to be a rush and we were just another box to check off so he can collect his check. He rushed through the exam with subpar bedside manners, barely looked at the patient, and did not ask questions other than "did you feel that." He was not thorough, nor did he care to listen when we expressed our concerns. If you have a choice to choose a neurologist, I would urge you to reconsider and choose anywhere else. You will not experience quality patient care here. There is a reason he consistently has such terrible reviews (under 2 stars on Yelp, Healthgrades, Vitals, etc.), and I wish we had a choice to choose a different doctor. Prepare to be disregarded if the patient doesn't speak English because he will be rough and impatient throughout the session.

Seems to make his money by stacking six patients an hour doing workers comp injury exams. Packed waiting room. Start talking to other patients in the room and they will warn you about him: Brash, narcissistic, will tell you about how he writes books and does medical lectures. Zero "bed-side" manner. Does not give appearance that he is there to help/heal you, but hey, he is the smartest person in the room.

Title says it all. Don't go to this guy. He's a waste of time and he's completely narcissistic and demeaning. I don't know how he got to be so arrogant and unpleasant, I must say those qualities are typically reserved for the highly skilled. After my experience with this doctor I can't say he is skilled at all. Do yourself a favor and steer clear from everything associated with Dr. Jonathan Rutchik.

Very very rude. After expressing interest in our business Dr. Rutchik was incredibly dismissive and impatient. This doctor is wholly unequipped to manage patient and professional relationships. After my three exchanges with this doctor, I can confidently say I am glad I will not have to cross paths with his business again.

My experience was similar to all of the previous one or no star reviews. Rude, humiliating and does not listen or perform tests properly. Will now have to request a redo of the test he performed and exceedingly sore.

No eye contact! Never explained anything: rationale, what he was going to do, why he late... I had ask if he was finished! Then dismisses you like cattle! The procedure was obviously painful. No apology or empathy from him! I too work with patients and their families all day. As an RN, I listen, explain and demonstrate before I touch any of my patients! His tech was amazing! Dr should take lessons from him!!!

If you're being sent to see him ask for someone else!!! His technician who did the first part of the emg was amazing!! But then when Rutchik came in, he was rude, brash and was very rough. Left blood all over both arms and neck from where he just jammed the needle into me. This was my 3rd emg and by far the worst one I ever had. And when he's done with you he just dismisses you like you're his pheasant or something. I am now covered in bruises. Please save yourself from the pain and pick a different doctor.

Both he and his office were sadly lacking. The office wall had a notice advising anyone that if you need forms copied from the "dotcor" there would be a $25 charge; he also has typographical errors on his own website. The doctor himself was an unshaven, sloppy mess that had 2 patients besides us waiting for him while he got on the phone to try and schedule "as many as we can get in". He did not even know we were in the office waiting until he bumbled into the exam room asking "Who's in here?". His nerve tech did the strength testing, thank goodness, since he was the only professional thing in the place. Dr. Rutchik did the actual part of the nerve test that involves breaking the skin. When he was done, he told us to leave and dismissed us with blood on both arms from the test sites. We had to ask for alcohol wipes! Then once he found out it was a work comp case he volunteered to give his testimony or statement - as if! Clearly professionalism is not his strong point. If I could give… negative reviews, I would! It is bad enough being a slave to the Worker's Compensation system but to be subjected to this type of sub-standard care is inexcusable.
