Dr Etscheidt displayed surgical excellence with each of my total knee replacements. He took time to explain the procedure, patiently answered my questions and was interested in my goals for the outcome. On numerous occasions he said to call with any questions or concerns and his bedside manner was calming and patient.

Dr. Etscheidt has no bed side manner. Truly beyond hurt by his words. Completely unprofessional.

I picked Dr Etscheidt for my hip replacement after hearing glowing reports from several people. I was quickly a fan myself. He listened to my story, explained options, performed the hip replacement, showed my the X-rays afterward. He answered all my questions and I never felt rushed at any of the visits. His staff is friendly and efficient. The hospital in Fairlawn is amazing. My results with the hip are everything I hoped for.

Dr. Etscheidt took the time to listen to all of my concerns regarding my knee pain. He gave me his opinion along with advising me of options for care. I chose to have an injection which Dr. Etscheidt quickly and carefully administered. My visit was thorough, to the point and greatly appreciated. My knee surgery will wait but my pain has been addressed for the present time.

I politely thanked the doctor after my five minute visit.; however, I was very displeased with being told my age, since I have always known my age. I guess you’re supposed to hurt no matter what, since you’re older. I would have appreciated a kinder way of saying that possibly therapy could help .This is the reason I put off going to the doctor as long as I do when some thing bothers me . Doesn’t make much sense . Female Doctors in the long run seem to be a lot more sensitive to a woman’s feelings which is very important when you’re hurting pretty bad. You probably won’t read this but at least I had to say it.
