Dr. Jordan Todd Kerker, MD

Dr kerker is by far one of the best doctors I have ever been treated by. He takes the time to listen to you’re problems and concerns. I’ve never felt rushed by him. Highly recommend him!!! ( I had hip surgery performed by him) and I’m so happy to have found him, couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable friendly doctor.

Had Shoulder surgery in May, 2016. My shoulder has never felt better. Dr. Kerker was great. He explained everything to me from start to finish. His staff is excellent and very helpful. I would highly recommend Dr. Kerker and his associates.

Much thanks to Dr kerker and his staff- I was taken in as an emergency for a severely painful left elbow- His staff even had someone fill out my paperwork because the pain was so severe. Dr Kerker was very attentive and professional. Yes the office was alittle crowded but his staff was helpful from the moment I walked in to when I left. Thank you

Uncaring, cold and not easy to see. After waiting for over 1 hour to see him, he asked me why I was overweight and blamed my weight for my pain. When I insisted there was something wrong, he said I was wrong because nothing showed up in the MRI or x-ray.

Very arrogant. Proud to be young and in charge. A or in pain does not care how important you are, they just want help!

I was referred to him by his partner in the same practice who takes my insurance. That doctor told me I had to see Kerker and I didn't know why. What they don't tell you is Kerker is out of network and does not take most insurances so the bill I got was out of control expensive. Kerker said we could work something out and they take care of patients, but when I called the office, the girls at the desk said I had to pay or else find another doctor. He is arrogant, somewhat mocking, and OK at best. He saw me for 1 minute, told me to get an x-ray and then later would probably need an MRI. Spent a few minutes boasting about his new MRI machine that was coming.

My 16 year old son just had surgery today due to a complicated break in his right clavacor due to a school lacrosse injury. When we took him to emergency room last week, we were told to contact an orthopedic surgeon. I immediately contacted the doctor my daughter had several years ago for a basketball injury, however he only specialized in hand surgery so I had to "choose" a doctor in the United Healthcare network, sight unseen, Needless to say I was very nervous since I selected Dr. Kerker solely based on the fact that he was board certified in orthopedic surgery and affiliated with NSLIJ, but we had to put our trust in someone. This man not only spent time with us diagnosing and explaining the upcoming procedure, but also put all my fears to rest with his confidence in performing a difficult procedure. He did not rush us at all, especially considering all the questions I had. He was patient and understanding, and explained everything that was going to happen not only to my… husband and I, but more importantly to our son. He treated him with dignity and respect, and answered all his questions as well. The surgery was successful, although it was delayed due to complications in a prior surgery, however that only led to my increased confidence in him, as it showed me that he would also not rush surgery on my son in the event there were complications in the operating room. Although the surgery was successful, the recovery was difficult. Dr. Kerker was informed of this later on, and called me personnally at 9:15 tonite to check on his status - he did not have one of his staff do this, which was quite impressive. My son was in a great deal of pain after the surgery, which of course was expected, but when he called he eased all my fears and directed us as to modification to the pain medication. My son is now resting peacefully thankfully, and Dr. Kerker gave me a clear understanding of what I needed to do regarding administering the pain meds for him. I am so thankful that my instincts were correct in selecting Dr. Kerker as my new orthopedic surgeon in the event anyone in my family needs his services. He is truly a Godsend and I am so very thankful for his services. I highly recommend this man for not only his expertise in his field, but also for his wonderful bedside manner and respect for his patients.

I went to Dr. Kerker for a problem with my shoulder. He injected it and now it feels much better. I have been back to see him for another injection and we also discussed the possibility of surgery. He spent a lot of time with me discussing all of the treatment options. Definitely would recommend!

Dr changed his mind as to issue. Didn't perform a thorough exam. Prescribed expensive medication, for the wrong condition. Would schedule appointments two weeks apart and then discuss my condition for a minute.... about money. Recommended other specialists and said they were the best and later said he had never used them before BEWARE

After my son had an open compound fracture to both the radius & ulna bones in his forearm, we were told we should schedule an appointment with a different orthopedist. After calling the other doctor's office with concern because he had numbness in his fingers,I was told to call my pediatrician. I called Central Orthopedics right after that phone call, and they told me to bring my son in immediately to be seen by Dr. Kerker. He told us he would follow our son's progress once a week, and if necessary he had a doctor from another office he would consult with if he had any doubts about his progress. He was honest, upfront, caring, and took the time to speak with my son. At times you may have to wait long at this office, as I've had to do in the past, but it's worth the wait. The doctors and staff are true professionals!
