Dr. Jordan Lee Loftis, MD

Dr Loftis was recommended to me by another physician. I found him to be caring and understanding. Highly recommend

Horrible bedside manner. Bad language. Looks at the computer more than the patient. Loves to espouse his political beliefs.

Not recommended -

Dr Loftis seemed reasonably competent but the La Plata staff is impersonal and never followed through with anything. They lost blood tests and dismissed me as a patient when I went on Medicare blaming it on confusion with co pays. The management is arrogant and doesn't return calls. When I sent a letter to each of the directors none of them responded. Their only interest seems to getting your dollar.

Dr. Jordan Loftis is not a physician I would ever care to see again. I originally saw Dr. Loftis to establish a primary care physician and have a routine checkup, but unfortunately Dr. Loftis never was even able to review my bloodwork that I had done previous to my appointment, apparently because his office staff (who were quite rude) lost it. He did not seem to give my opinion or thoughts any value, as when I tried to ask questions about my treatment he simply concluded that he was correct and did not give my thoughts any merit. Lastly, he also billed my insurance a level higher than was appropriate. Even when I attempted to follow up with Dr. Loftis, to re-order my annual bloodwork, he insisted I come in for yet another visit before ordering any tests. Two separate visits for annual bloodwork does not make any sense to me. Quite simply put, there are much better physicians if you are willing to wait for an appointment.
