Dr. Jorge Luis Juncos, MD

Most thorough Doctor in practice. He has spent hours going through my records and with me to track down my problem. Incredible expertise and dedication. He will find the answer.

Dr. Juncos spent over an hour with my 21 year old daughter, who has had what we considered random hiccups for 3 - 4 years. We have been to other doctors and ruled out physical causes. After tactful questioning and careful consideration, he concluded she has a vocal tic (but not full blown Turrett's). He suggested a mild medication, but when my daugher said she would rather not take it, he agreed with her and said if she changed her mind to come back and see him. He took her opinion seriously and was very patient with my questions. I would highly recommend him.

I have a child who has endured significant medical difficulties. I am a parent in significant poverty situation. I have used ALL of my personal resources to get my child to a specialist in Texas, Jacksonville and Atlanta. I have followed up, filed, called and attended to every doctor we've met. I HAPPENED to forget my file on Alexis- this one time- and he sure let me know what he thought of that. Actually, I thought her other doctor had already sent that information- and Dr. Juncos already had it. Frankly, I was heartbroken to find that he hadn't taken any time to review my daughter's very involved and disturbing situation before we even got there. He didn't spend any time with us. he didn't lay a hand on my daughter. He was arrogant I felt judged the entire time I was in there. He read her chart, wrote a prescription for antidepressants and suggested we see a psychiatrist. All the while offending me and making his disinterest clear. We were in his office nearly four hours.

Dr. Juncos treats me as though I am the only patient there for the day. He listens to me and then suggests ways to help. I am never treated as though my problems are insignificant. He also treats my "shopping" side by suggesting places that have good prices and discounts. Dr. Juncos treats the person and not the disease.

He took the time to really listen to my problem and seemed to want to figure out exactly what was wrong and how to improve my condition. He seemed very warm and caring as well as intelligent.

Dr. Juncos is worth the wait, but his scheduling should account for the length time he spends with each patient.
