Dr. Jose Ignacio Mendez-Martinez, MD

My initial visit was good . Dr. Mendez is courteous and knowledgeable. However his staff is rude. After I waited about one hour on the phone to make an appointment the receptionist by the name of “Eric” stated I couldn’t with out doing a study first. I told him there were new developments in my condition and he still refused. He was very rude yelling. I wonder if all seniors are treated this way in the clinic . Not all seniors are able to advocate for themselves however he did not know I am doctorate educated and I am very able to speak on my behalf. I worry about the rest of the seniors who are Spanish speaking, with low level of education or who do not have someone to advocate for them. I think this man “Eric should be fired” for his cruelty and disrespect to seniors like me. Unfortunately most of these employees get away with this type of behavior . He should at least be reprimanded It is ridiculous how I was treated. Think of your mothers of advance age. This is how they are… treated here by “Eric”

Doctor Méndez has treated me very well. Has always been truthful about my diagnoses. I'm glad and proud that he is my doctor. I would recommend him to all who need his help.

Dr. Mendez spent time listening to my medical history and examining me. He ordered the necessary tests as well

Dr. Mendez is a very caring cardiologist with grand bed side manners. As my 87 yr old Mom's caregiver, he listens to both of us and does not rush our visit. He addresses our issues on a timely fashion that make us comfortable. BRAVO to Dr Mendez and staff.
