Saw Dr. English for 1 minute. Needed a simple cyst removal from the back of my neck. He said he could not do the procedure today and ordered a revisit 1 week later. Paid my $ 50 deductible. Revisited 1 week later and had a Physician Assistant remove the cyst. Had to pay another $ 50. The practice filed to my insurance carrier for over $500. It appears that the only thing this guy wants is the money, especially the deductibles. While awaiting an appeal on the second $50 charge he turned me over to a bill collector. This after 30 days of billing. Stay away.

Dr. English worked for months to figure out what my unique affliction was. He never showed frustration at the difficulty of diagnosis, and encouraged me to let him know how the different treatments we tried were effecting me. I felt like he cared deeply.

His resident denied my symptoms because of my age (hair falling out), which hasn't stopped since the appointment (6 months ago). Had me get blood work never let me know about my results, did not put it in the UPMC database, rushed me in and out told me I'd be fine. Well I'm not fine. He didn't take my symptoms seriously and this is causing depression and I am beside myself about this. I've gone to three different doctors for this and he was definitely the one who cared the least.

Dr. English was kind and courtious to my daughter. She was quite sensitive about her skin condition. He also picked up on an endocrine problem that the PCP has missed for years. Would highly reccomend him.

I found Dr. English to be thorough and his bedside manner to be excellent. The staff in his newer Wexford location are courteous and my appointments are always on time and they're very accommodating.

Saw the PA and she was professional, kind, and WONDERFUL. Made me very comfortable.

Recently saw this Doc.....I felt he talked AT me & not to me.....spoke fast, no time for questions, clarification(s) or "what about this?" kind of thing.....see ya in a couple months & out the door.

He's an excellent Dr. Been to quite a few for adult cystic acne and rosea and he's the only Dr that could prescribe meds that worked! He might not spend as much time with you but he definitely knows his stuff. I highly recommend him.

My experience with Dr.English was wonderful. He and his team of residents diagnosed my condition , which was previously misdiagnosed by another dermatologist. He asked me many questions about my condition and genuinely listened, prior to the diagnosis. Then, he began my treatment that day, for which I am grateful. It's a relief to know what's going on with me and why, and I'm truly thankful.
