Dr. Joseph William Kusick, DO

Zero stars should be an option for this “doctor”. Very unprofessional and horrible bedside manner. Witnessed his ignorance and excessive lack of respect towards a patient and we will be getting a new cardiologist. He asks a question and then interrupts with snarky and dismissive comments as if the concerns patients have that HE ASKED THE QUESTION about are ludicrous and doesn’t want to hear the answer at all. These are heart patients! They have the right to voice their concerns to a caring provider and to be made feel comfortable or at least heard instead of the being made feel like it’s ridiculous. Maybe he could benefit from some “soft skills” education. He rushes you and makes you feel like he has no time for you but he’s the one that schedules these follow up visits! It’s unfortunate that Dr.Azus is no longer in Butler because he was the best! We will be leaving the practice as well as talking about this experience. This has happened three times now with him and it’s not ok, it’s… uncalled for and if he doesn’t like what he’s doing then maybe he should find a different specialty. He’s clearly an unpleasant, and unhappy person from the way he treats his patients. We do not recommend him AT ALL!
