Dr. Joseph Kao Lee, MD

I have met with Dr Lee twice this far regarding my lower back issues. I cannot express in words adequately how appreciative I am of the time we spent discussing the cause/effect of my lumbar stenosis. He was able to put everything into perspective and communicate to me in a manner that I could understand. As an engineer focused on details, I demanded a lot from him and he was able to put me at ease regarding the path forward for me with my lumbar stenosis.

Very informative, covered all the info on the MRI and explained the results in a way that I was able to understand my problems. Very satisfy with the time he spent at my visit. I would absolutely refer Dr Lee to my family and friends. Thank you.

I am not medical professional, but when a recent heart surgery patient has a fever .. do you not run labs to see what is going on? apparently- that's what happens under this guys watch. he would rather the patient sit and take tylenol for an entire day instead of being proactive and trying to find out what the cause of the problem is. he didnt feel the need to report any of the to the actual surgeon, he actually said " leave the surgeon alone, he job is done".. when i spoke to the surgeon, he was mortified and immediately had a transfer set up to get the patient real care!

An incredibly rude, condescending, unavailable person. Quick to dismiss and does not listen. He needs to learn how to be kind, how to listen, and he needs to learn manners, courtesy, etiquette, politeness.

I have recently switched to Dr. Lee from other orthopedic doctors I have used. He read my medical history and had me go for an MRI. Based on the results, he very carefully explained everything to me and had me on a course of medication until I had my epidural shot yesterday. He walked to through all he was doing and constantly made sure I was doing ok. Great experience and highly recommend. By the way, less then 24 hours after shot, I am pain free!

he gave me so much time. He is thorough and brilliant. He has helped me with my hip condition far beyond any other doctor I have seen.

I saw Dr. Lee a few weeks ago. He explained my condition and talked me through the entire treatment process. He's great! I'd gladly recommend him.
