Dr. Joseph John Lozano, MD

I just went in because i just didn't feel well, I was having some throat and neck pain and he stated that i was having cardiac symptoms that could indicate a heart attack , even though i was not really having chest pain. well a few hours later i was at the cardiac unit being evaluated and treated for a heat attack. i was just glad he was there to evaluate me. he truly was a life saver.

Last night my two year old fell off of the bed backwards and got a knot on his head. He shook it off like it was nothing but started complaining of a headache an hour later. We went to Ashe ER and right away we were taken to a room. As I was telling the nurse what all had happened since the fall, I noticed Dr Lozano standing just outside the curtain listening and nodding his head as if taking in al of the details. As soon as the nurse was finished, he came in and started checking my son out. He did a dozen different neurological test on him and checked him over head to toe. He was so kind and calm through the entire exam and when he finished he said that everything looked great and that he had an emergency on the way in that would take a while so he had wanted to check the LO out first. He kept us there for an hour or so after just to be sure nothing came up and our LO started playing and feeling better he came in and checked him over, reassured my husband and I that things do happen… with toddlers and that getting checked was never a problem (which I appreciated because an ER doctor we saw in the past make me feel rushed and senseless for taking LO in with a fever and earache and said I should have just done Tylenol until ped opened :/ ) and after making sure everyone was comfortable, he let us go. I was blown away by his wonderful bedside manner with both our son and my husband and myself (we were a little tore up to begin with). It was so great to experience kindness and patience from a doctor and also be able to trust his medical advise and we couldn't have asked for anything more from this visit. My only complaint is that he had mentioned that he does internal medicine and pediatrics and we only recently moved into the area so I had hoped that he had a pediatric office so that we could make him our LOs pediatrician but it doesn't look like he does :( We couldn't have hoped for a better experience with this doctor and I'm so grateful for all he did for us!

i will never go to ashe memorial hospitial again this doctor lyied to me massively told me when my kids fever broke she could go home and when it did hes says he never said tha tand he is a very very poor excuse for a doctor. WATCH YOUR KIDS AND KEEP THEM AWAY FROM HIM
