He will not see you or speak with you even if you made an appointment months prior

His staff is horrible. If you read the Google reviews, most of them have the same complaint about the staff. He takes their side as well.

I was sent to Dr Oommen by the VA. I saw him on the first visit, then I only saw his staff for 2-3 months. They sent me to neurosurgeons in Houston. They checked me out and said I did not have a blockage and released me. I called to make an appointment to see Dr Oommen only and his staff refused my request.

I am so thankful I was referred to Dr. Oommen. I am so glad that there is a Stanford trained Epilepsy doctor in Beaumont and we do not have to drive to Houston anymore. I was anxious about meeting with a local doctor for my son's epilepsy. Dr. Oommen put me to ease immediately with his bedside manner. His knowledge is impressive and so is the way he explains everything to you patiently. I would gladly recommend this doctor to anyone!

Haven’t seen the doctor yet, but had a question. I called and waited for the answeiny service for more than ten minutes before giving up. Second call yielded no better results.

Wait times are no longer than 20 min. o so. But the wait is worth the care, information, treatment options, etc... If you are looking for a Neurologist Dr. Oomen is the best. He takes his time, allows me to ask questions and explains my healthcare plan, etc. Dr. Oomen's staff goes out of their way to assist me with appointments and any other questions. It is nice to be genuinely "cared for" and feel confident that I understand and know the healthcare plan by Dr Oomen and his staff. And best of all, NO MORE MIGRAINES!
