Dr. Joseph Phillip Spott, DO

If you want to go see a doctor that dismisses your concerns, misdiagnoses you on more then one occasion and doesn't listen to what you are telling him this is the man for you. He was determined I had carpel tunnel when I told him this was not carpel tunnel he said "so u know more then me" he then orders a test for carpel tunnel. Guess what? It came back no carpel tunnel. When I went back and he noticed how I was walking he said it could be MS or ALS and I need to take this serious -_- I Immediately changed doctors, finally had a wonderful doctor who listened. Turns out I have bulging discs in my neck pressing on my spine which I need surgery for. DO NOT GO TO this man. He needs to retire because he has lost his passion and is full of arrogance

Very Professional. Explained to me what was going on, and gave me options to consider. Listened to all my concerns. Looks over your xrays and MRIs personally and gives you his opinion. I went back ready to proceed. Staff compliments him very well professionally! Do not hesitate to go see him with your concerns.

Dr. Spott is very kind, caring, and does a wonderful job explaining what is necessary to help you achieve overall healing. He explains exactly what treatments are needed to make your pain go away. He will go above and beyond to ensure that you are satisfied. He is a great Orthopedic Specialist. I highly recommend him.

Dr Spott does not do a good job of explaining what went on at all after a surgery. He won’t inform you on what has happened or what to expect,and has that arrogant “I’m the best Dr.” attitude. He is so rude! He has made myself and my family very uneasy about what is going on with my health. Will I be ok? Will I have to have another surgery? Will my issues be resolved? He doesn’t seem to care at all about anyone’s health and it’s not a big deal to him if people get better or not. He’s there for the money and if the body gets infected, oh well! I have switched Dr.s because of this reason. Do not go to him! I have found a Dr. who truly cares about my injuries and will do whatever it takes to get me healthy and back to work fully!

I limped into his office in pain, and walked out completely pain-free! His office was clean, office staff was friendly and efficient, short wait time, and a very knowledgeable and helpful nurse all added to this 5-star experience. The doctor diagnosed the problem right away, and treated it immediately along with a healthy dose of humor. I would definitely go back should I need orthopaedic treatment again!

Recovered , very quickly from Knee surgery , thin scar !

Two surgeries he wanted to do a third and still wouldn't have got it right. I left in the middle of recovery. Thanks to his incompetence and my trustworthiness I will live with an infection that can never be treated and pain that keeps me confined to my home! All at the age of 62!! Please do not trust this Man!!!!!

I had been seeing Dr. Spott for 7+ years and have always had the utmost trust in him. Now due to an insurance change I can't see him. But when I called to get a refferal for another Doctor that he trusted.....office wants to charge up to $500 just to talk to him for a few minutes. So much for the patients needs come first. Very disappointed.
