Dr. Joseph Truman Stubbs, MD

I recently had the privilege to meet and have Dr.Stubbs as one of my numerous physicians. He listened and treated my problem with such precise medical treatment. He offered me a solution that relieved me from daily use of catheters and having repetitive urinary tract infections. Once I had my procedure it was like day and night and night and day difference! I only wished I would of gotten to see him much sooner. He and his staff Tiffany and Tiana made me feel comfortable in which let’s face it the most uncomfortable time in life when we are the patient feeling ill/sick/under the weather or just a routine check up They were understanding, informative, tentative and made it very easy getting into a relax mode of being “The Patient”. Dr Stubbs has a Great bed side manner very professional but yet very Down to Earth and easy on the eyes. He himself was very patient and extremely understanding and made me feel very comfortable with my medical/health issues. I hope that the… Savannahians know how lucky they are to have a choice of a Physician with knowledge of modern medicine, modern technology and modern medical treatment. He uses updated products and keeps the patient well informed. Please take the time to meet Dr.Stubbs and his lovely Staff. Remember Prevention not Treatment.

For 16 yrs, I suffered what a lot of us mothers do after giving birth. Bladder leakage. Not only did I have 4 kids, I had a set of twins. Pregnancy did a toll on my body. At the ripe old age of 45, I was newly married and embarrassed for my husband to know that I had bladder issues. My gynecologist referred me to a urologist who told me that my issue was beyond anything he could help me with, but that he knew somebody who could help me and that he was the best. He sent me to Dr. Stubbs at Urogyn Savannah, Dr. Stubbs did his testing and found other things that needed to be fixed as well as my bladder. After all the testing, he sat me down and set the plan in motion to get me back to what I should be. A happy newlywed wife. I had surgery in December, 2016 and I can now follow my granddaughter all over the yard, I can chase my 15 yr old boys down and aggravate them like they do me. I no longer have to worry about bladder leakage. I can laugh, cough and sneeze and be… worry-free! I can never thank him enough for what he's done for me! Thank you, Dr. Stubbs! You truly are the best!

Dr. Stubbs is compassionate and he executes his skills to a degree that surpasses any scale. He is one of the greatest physicians of this era.

wad released from the hospital too soon after a complicated surgery. Ended up in an Er 2 days after surgery. Tried to reach the Dr after hours. Was told that he was not to be contacted under any circumstances. He berated me in front of his office staff after I addressed this with him upon a follow up visit. Do not expect any compassion or follow up care. He may know his stuff, but his bedside manner is terrible. Have had to multiple surgeries after the one he did. My life will never be the are again.

My experience with DR Stubbs and his staff was absolutely wonderful. This office is so efficient also very caring. My surgery went wonderful and smooth, also my aftercare was wonderful. I would recommend this office if you want a competent DR and staff.
