Excellent doctor! I appreciate that he personally (instead of PA)came in to explain how my bone is healing and what to do to get better.

DR Tejan and staff were very efficient in my surgery and care.

He has replaced both knees and hips in the last 4 years with success. His hip procedure is in the front and leave about a 4 inch scar. Highly recommend Dr Tejan

I was injured in 2007 and have ulnar nerve damage and bi lateral overuse syndrome. I have not had insurance since 2009. I was excited that I was finally going to see a Dr that could help me resolve my issues. This Dr treated me like I was garbage. He asked why I didn't see a Dr for years and why all of a sudden now I was. I explained I did not have insurance and that I have learned how to not use my arms so I can avoid being in pain, He just gave me a dirty look. I told him I had a flare up of pain after an aqua massage on my back and that based on that and a QME doctor saying I had what appeared to be a spinal injury, that I thought my pain may be coming from my back into my arms. He proceeded to tell me that arm pain definitely does not come from the "trunk" only the neck and head. He proceeded to do my exam and forced my arms into different positions and then told me I appeared fine. I started crying as he was looking directly in my eyes. He did not acknowledge this at all.… His assistant walked in the room, saw me crying and handed me a tissue. He treated me like an idiot and a liar. Thankfully he referred me somewhere else. I will never got to this Dr again and will be showing the reviews on this website to my primary physician so hopefully she will not send other patients there to be treated with disrespect by this man.

Steer clear of this doctor as he's 'surgery happy'. Always get a 2d and, in some cases, a 3d opinion.

Dr. Tejan gave me my life back. I had been having hip pain for more than 3 years and when he did my hip replacement earlier this year, it was a wonderful experience. He was informative and the whole process went quickley without any problems. His office staff was very helpful. I highly recommend this doctor, the best in Dallas, maybe all of Texas

after a car accident I had several fractures. He never came to see me after the emergency room, although I was in the hospital for several days. He even gave instructions no food or drink after midnight due to next day surgery even though I had already been told that no surgery could be done until the swelling went down. I had had surgery for another problem the previous day and should have been hydrated after that. The next morning the assistant said that the doctor must have made a mistake because there is no way I could have surgery on my leg yet. It's rather telling when you ask other physicians in the Methodist group about him and they just say they can't comment on another colleague. When I gave them another name, the response was oh very good. Hmmmm
