I had a great experience with Dr. Trentacoste today. I’ve been dealing with uveitis for the past few days, and he was incredibly knowledgeable and thorough in his approach. He took the time to clearly explain everything to me, which really helped put me at ease and understand what’s going on. I truly appreciated his professionalism and care. Highly recommend!

Dr. Trentacoste and his colleague Dr. Acuña saved me from a lifetime of unnecessary eye pressure medicine due to an incorrect diagnosis from another Doctor! The staff is also professional and friendly, which is a rarity in South Florida. Dr. Trentacoste is down-to-earth, talks to me like a fellow human being and takes the time to hear me out and to explain the diagnosis. I've never felt rushed. His fees are very reasonable, even without insurance coverage, and he has never pushed me to buy glasses I didn't need or pushed any unnecessary product or service on me, which I’ve experienced elsewhere. He seems like a good man who truly enjoys what he does and whose main concern is his patients, not his profits. I live over an hour away, yet I will continue being a patient of his until he retires. Dr. Trentacoste and his office are an oasis of humanity, professionalism and competence in South Florida!

I’ve been a patient of Dr Trentacoste for over 18 years. Not any regular ophthalmologist but to me, the best. He is kind, professional, pays attention when you speak, he is helpful and very clear in his explanations. He is very patient especially if the patient is anxious about a procedure like I was when he did Lasek on me years ago. Dr Trentacoste genuinely cares about his patients and it is evident when you see the demeanor of his patients when they walk out of his examining room. It's been only a week today since I had cataract surgery with Dr. Trentacosta on my right eye and I'm positively thrilled, not only is my vision sharp and clear my eye is perfect as if I had never had surgery at all. I/m back to all my daily activities. I had surgery on my left eye with Dr. Zambrano in 2020 and it was also great.

Outstanding. Could not have been happier with the cataract surgery. No more glasses ! His staff is great and they are very punctual ! I would highly recommend.

After visiting my primary doctors and receiving clearance, their office decided to contact me one day before the surgery and inform me that they did not have the clearance. They are not very responsible or do things in a timely manner. The lady working at the front desk, Jenny, said she would give me a call back before 3pm to inform me if they had received the paperwork and give me confirmation for my surgery, but nobody in that office called me back. I decided to reschedule the surgery and the same thing happened all over again. I’m no longer considering surgery with this doctor. It’s already stressful enough to coordinate my schedule and my family’s schedule to get this done. I’m very disappointed because I’ve seen the great results from surgeries this doctor can perform, however, the care coordination and communication is very poor and not worth the stress in my opinion.

I am super happy with my Lasik results, the only thing I regret is not having done it sooner. Dr. Trentacoste, is an awesome doctor he explains everything from beginning to end. Is very hard now days to find doctors that are companionate and kind to their patients. Thank you Dr. Trentacoste, my husband is next!
