Dr. Joseph Wasselle, MD

My husband had to have his leg amputated below the knee. He came home and developed an infection in the bone. Was readmitted but Dr. never came to see him. My husband had to have heavy duty antibiotics and would have to continue them when he was released. Associate came to see my husband and said Dr would be in later to make decision about releasing him and doing 42 days of infusions at home or possible surgery to scrape infection which then would only require five days of infusions. Dr never showed up so we still know absolutely nothing. Sad thing is we were told he was in the building but never came to my husbands room.

I had back surgery, and Dr. Wasselle was helping with the surgery, He caused a hernia from the surgery, I had to have surgery to fix it, he told me it would be o.k. when completed...it is still huge, when I went with my husband for post op...he told me he could make my other side huge, so they would match...not funny...and I had to pay $3000.00 out of pocket for him to fix something he caused...when I asked for a discount his nurse said no, file with insurance....what??? They did not care about my deductible, or about my care...There should have been NO fee, since he caused this....now I am looking for someone else to fix my issues...and an attorney to help me.....DO NOT GO HERE!

He never showed up for the procedure, I preped night before, and waited in hosp gown with tube in arm until end of day and nurses were going home.

Dr. Wasselle is a caring, compassionate doctor. He cares for his patients. He makes sure they get the best care they need. And he does what he can for them.

Dr. Wasselle is my surgeon. He operated on me for my appendix, gall bladder, and removal of scar tissue. He was always very kind and patient with me. He visited me every day when I was in the hospital. His advice was very good and helped me to recover. He cares a lot about his patients well being. I recommend him highly. He is the best surgeon I have ever met. I respect him very much.

When I go to Dr. Wasselle's office I always feel at home. The Dr. and his nurse Virginia are always concerned and you know you are getting 100% attention. He has done numerous procedures on my neck, leg and foot and I could not have been in better hands.

Dr. Wasselle and staff were exceptional. It was a wonderful experience given the circumstances. I felt as though I was in the very best of care because of the doctor and his team. Thank you and best wishes to everyone.

When I was ask if I had a surgeon - I replied Yes, Dr. Wasselle - he has been my surgeon when I had my gallbladder removed and a cyst on my back. I trust him to be careful and methodical.
