Dr. Joseph David Whitlark, MD

Dr. Whitlark is one of a kind. He is a WONDERFUL human being, as well as a TERRIFIC surgeon. Our family considers him a saint. In our opinion, he’s the best.

Dr Whitlark performed a lobectomy on my father last week. My parents could not say enough wonderful things about Dr Whitlark. They said he is a very thorough Dr who took his time explaining the procedure and answered all of their questions. They never felt rushed during their time with him. He had my father up and walking hours after the procedure and ultimately home in just a few days after the operation. My parents said his confidence and his knowledge helped ease their nerves during this stressful time. Our family is very grateful for Dr Whitlark and his staff.

Talks way too fast. He asks you a question but before you can answer hes talking too fast again. Not sure yet about how he is as a dr just said everything went well in lung surgery.

HE AND HIS STAFF TREATED ME AS IF I WAS ONE OF THEIR FAMILY MEMBERS, AND HE IS STILL TREATING ME AND HE DONE A LUNG OPERATION GOING ON TWO YEARS AND HAS THE UP MOST CONCERN FOR MY HEALTH.

Dr. Whitlark is an excellent physician. When I had a collapsed lung last year, he was called in and even though I was in shock and scared, he talked me through the procedure and has been taking good care of my medical needs ever since. I highly recommend him and his staff for quality care and comforting bedside manner.

Dr Whitlark is a wonderful surgeon. I hope he continues to keep his practice in Kinston, NC.
