Very cautious doctor excellent for first time parents

Dr. Witty has delivered 2 of my three children. He is very cautious and asks more questions than any doctor I have ever seen. He is a very smart, caring physician that is concerned with a womans health as well as the babys health! I would highly recommend him!!

I met Dr Witty Baptist during and emergency room visit. And after the care and explanation He had given me I left my ob and took him on as my doctor. He takes very good care and concern with me. He understands that the baby I am carrying is the most important thing to me. And he shows it by taking care of us patiently and carefully

He was there during the whole step through pregnacy to labor and postpartum. He is thoughtful in everything that he does and is very observant

I scheduled a prenatal appt. I wound up with the flu during the winter before my first visit. I called his office and was referred to the ER. After two visits to the emergency room during the holidays with the flu and I was sent home and told to take tylenol both times since I was pregnant. My conditions worsened. My conditions worsened. I was about five-seven weeks pregnant. My flu developed into pneumonia (later taken care of by local nurse practitioner until I could schedule an appointment with a different doctor. I called Dr. Witty's office again and he called me and very rudely asked me "Who verified that you are pregnant?!!" when I was sick wih pneumonia and pregnant prior to my first appointment. I guess the basic inference was that if he hadn't verified that I was pregnant yet then I was to be assumed not pregnant and my pneumonia could be treated with non-approved drugs in regards to fetal safety. Needless to say I found a different doctor...I took breathing… treatments and catagory "B" drugs that where safe for my fetus under administration of a local clinic until I could see my new OBGYN.
