Rude, inefficient Doctor and won't release your records after you leave, staff nasty, except Mercedes.

Dr. Elizabeth Dennis has been our primary care doctor since we moved to maryland in 2004. We feel that we have recieved excellent care. Dr. dennis has always been respectful, curtious and concerned about our wellbeing. We have never had problems receiving medications need or refills. We feel she is very compitent in diognosing a problem and prompt in helping to resolve the problem. she is quick to refer us to other doctors when necessary and follows up to assure good results. We had since moved from the Columbia area and relocated and we still travel the distance to retain her as our primary care doctor. Very Pleased Patient

Hard to find any positives. Most unhelpful.

My mother had a persistent headache that kept recurring, and wanted to know what could possibly be going on instead of taking OTC acetaminophen or aspirin. Went to see this "doctor" last year, and until now, she's referred my mother to tons of imaging/lab tests, but has yet to figure out or tell us a diagnosis. This alone is alarming for a "family doctor" who must be able to figure out quickly whether s/he can treat a patient him/herself or decide what specialist to refer to for best patient care. My mother just got back from her appointment with this doc, and she was so upset by the sheer negligence and insolence reflected in the doc's repetitively telling my mother what more tests to get next, cutting any question my mother wanted to ask her in mid-sentence with "just do this as I say, OK?" "just do that, OK?" "OK?" My mother had to wait in their waiting room for almost an hour to get some of her concerns answered, but instead, she came back much more upset and emotionally… distraught than she was before seeing this doc for the first time. It is absolutely ludicrous and unacceptable for someone declaring herself as a "doctor" to try to profit from her patients by referring to as many tests as possible, not knowing what in the world is really wrong with the patient, and keep having patients return for more visits to give more referrals to exploit reimbursements from the patient's insurance coverage. Do yourself a favor, and look elsewhere unless you want to be treated the same ridiculous way as we were.

Upon moving to MD less than 2 years ago, I gave Dr. Dennis a chance despite the numerous bad reviews - knowing that there are always negative people in the world! Bad move on my part. I was knowingly left without two weeks worth of a BP/heart-related medication to fill the gap between running out and my appointment date. The doctor even refused to return my calls!!

If you are looking for a Dr that will 1)schedule unnecessary appointments just to get paid, 2)will make you wait 45 minutes before you are even seen, 3)will say they called in prescriptions but haven't, 4) is not available even by answering service after hours or on weekends,5) takes extended vacations frequently at which time the whole office is out of commission, 6)will take months to give you requested records, 7) has an unpleasant and unprofessional staff...then you have found the perfect Doctors office. EPIC FAIL.

Sloppy, unpleasant, and unprofessional. Terrible doctor, does not know how to listen or diagnose. No one picks up the phone in her office and records are lost.

Worst experience ever! The office is never open on time, messages taken with answering service are not taken care of, and the receptionist customer service is non-existent. I went in for a simple medical concern, and feel like I got high blood pressure from having to deal with their neglect. After leaving the office, I proceeded to the pharmacy to fill my script, only to realize she completely forgot to call it in. I wound up waiting two hours and stalking the poor pharmacists at the Giant. Dr. Dennis' office over books patients and spends the least amount of time as possible with them. Reported them to BBB and will be finding a new doctor.

Now I know why it was so easy to schedule an appointment with Dr. Dennis in such short notice. Dr. Dennis is concerned only with profit and not with patient care. She wanted me to return to her office to take an unnecessary test before she would give me a prescription for a low risk medication.
