Moving to Louisiana, she earned her MD at LSUHSC-Shreveport School of Medicine and completed residency training at Tulane University School of Medicine. Dr. Futrell is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a member of American Society of Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Futrell is married to her college sweetheart, Dr. Michael Futrell. In her personal time, Dr. Futrell enjoys running and kickboxing.
