We highly recommend Dr. Alpert! We drive a considerable distance from Deerfield to see Dr. Josh Alpert, and it's worth every mile. As an orthopedic physician and surgeon, he combines honesty, real attentiveness, and genuine competence in a way that's increasingly hard to find. Unlike so many other practices, we're never left waiting. When we're in the room with him, he gives us his full attention and as much time as we need — we never feel rushed, and he's diligent about answering every question thoroughly. He's also easy to reach and approachable, which matters enormously when you're navigating an orthopedic issue and have follow-up concerns. Between his medical expertise and the way he treats his patients, Dr. Alpert is exactly the kind of doctor you hope to find.

He is very patient and understanding

Dr Alpert is very nice he listens to me explains everything so I can understand .The staff is great friendly the place is clean. My only complaint today is the girl who checked me in this morning was on the phone and I'm standing there waiting and waiting and she's looking at me but she's still on the phone and she wasn't on the phone with the patient she was talking on the phone with a girlfriend cuz they were laughing and talking about I don't know what they were talking about but it was rude and she just kept ignoring me.

Dr. Alpert was amazing. He was comforting, provided a thorough explanation of next steps & the procedure, and incredible consideration of the patient’s needs. Amazing experience with him and his staff.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Alpert for over 10 years, ever since I completely tore my ACL. From the initial reconstruction surgery to every flare-up, tweak, or question I’ve had since, he has been nothing short of exceptional. What sets him apart is how he truly cares for his patients. No matter how busy his schedule is, whenever my knee acts up he somehow makes time to see me the same day—something I’ve never experienced with any other doctor. His surgical skill gave me back an active life of dance fitness, and his calm, kind bedside manner makes every visit comfortable, even when I’m anxious or in pain. He explains everything clearly, never rushes, and treats you like a person, not just another knee. I trust him completely and recommend him without any hesitation to anyone needing orthopedic care—especially ACL or sports injuries. He’s simply the best. This was an easy 5-stars to give. Dr. Alpert’s team from start to finish was wonderful - friendly, helpful and experienced. Dr Alpert was genuine and warm and the consult on my shoulder was informative and unrushed. His Physician Assistant Christina was efficient and could not have been nicer, while also taking extra time to go over my case, my scans, and discussing potential options for a shoulder like mine. I felt like I was in great hands and I highly recommend!
