Dr. Joshua Michael Fiske, MD

It is always amazing when you find a doctor of Dr. Fiske’s caliber. My issue was Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH). The procedure Dr. Fiske suggested involved a green light laser. The procedure was a complete success. It has been 2 years and I now due yearly checkups.

Extremely competent, knowledgeable, straight-forward, understanding but not a 'hugger'. Saw him just a month ago after retirement of my long-time previous doctor pre-covid. Quickly assessed and recommended treatment, carried out weeks later with outstanding results. Highly recommend.

He walked in the the examination room with a horrible attitude. Every response I gave him to his questions was met with arrogance. Never would refer him and definitely won’t go back.

Dr. Fiske is a wonderful physician. He is compassionate, friendly, down to earth, and comforting. I always feel very well taken care of. He has gone above and beyond to care for me in a timely manner. I am so happy to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Fiske is an absolute gem! He has successfully operated on my husband three times. He is kind, patient, and knowledgable and has a wonderful sense of humor which immediately puts you at ease. He took the time to answer all our questions and his post op communication was fantastic. I wish all of our doctors were like Dr. Fiske!

Such a great and caring doctor! My husband had surgery under his care and multiple family members and they have all done so well. Highly recommend

I accompanied my ill husband to two visits with this doctor, 2 days apart, in both the Cranford and Westfield offices. The first thing out of his mouth, after a 1 hour wait in the patient exam room, was "why did you come here?" After I explained why we were there, he asked "what do you want me to do?" Dr. Fiske apparently did not take the time to review my husband's records. After a lengthy explanation of the events that lead to that appointment, he explained what I needed to do and scheduled another appointment for two days later. I felt rushed and walked away feeling like he didn't listen to a word I said. At the next appointment (2 days later), when he found that I did not follow his specific instructions because of other worrisome concerns I had, he scolded me several times as if I were a 5-year old child. I broke down in tears as he berated about how I handled his instructions. He was insensitive and rude. I also asked about changing an existing prescription from a capsule form… to a pill in crushable form. Since I did not know the name of the prescription, I asked if he could look it up in my husband's records. He gave every reason as to why he could not do that. Another waste of time. My overall experience with this office was horrible. I would not even give half a star if it was an option.

Later that year I saw another doctor and was diagnosed with a varicocele and had a successful surgery to get it removed. So not only is he rude, he is a poor doctor. He should not be allowed to practice anymore.
